Ace and Raven for great 'aww squee!' and cheering Ace on.
Blodwen and Raven for great ahehehehe-ing and shiveriness.
Franks Burns in general, with helpful confusion from KARR , John Munch, Captain Ryan and Ace. *Gigglesnort*

Spot the, er, connection!

Then pimp, dammit!

As of this post, April has stuck a bit of mistletoe around.

It can get taken down or not, but she's in a Christmasy mood. Feel free to have your pup get caught under some. *grins*

It seems that crack chat has died, so I made a new one: Crackways

So far it looks like most people who've expressed interest, would prefer this done before Feb/March. Or at least started before then. Is there any week of January that the commenters to the last post would prefer?
I'd go for the second week, myself, and with time zone/work issues posting either afternoon/evening (EST) or on the weekend would be most convenient. Though I suspect this is going to involve several Slowtime invocations. The possibility too was mentioned of having more than one class group and instructor, depending on how many interested characters speak up.

ETA There are notes at the Bar for Bernard, Michaelangelo, and Simon Tam now. thanx!

So a belated leave of absence...but yes, 13th (today) -- 19th of December, with limited access afterwards till I get back to school. :)

I love you all. If you want threads, do request them. 'Cause I'll make time for you. ♥

I'd just like to thank the wonderful players who made the Plot With Tentacles In possible- even though we somehow seem to have made it through the plot without seeing any actual tentacles. Let's have a big round of applause for the people behind [livejournal.com profile] works_in_space, [livejournal.com profile] bprd_agent_red, [livejournal.com profile] md_donighal, and [livejournal.com profile] _romana, and especially [livejournal.com profile] etananesoe; they made this whole thing worthwhile.

That being said, it's kind of a biggish plot. There's a bunch of OOMs behind it. As a point of courtesy, here's a basic summary:

We started back in September with news that the original space tourist planned for the ISS wasn't gonna be able to make it. Training takes a while, so nothing really came of it until December, when Ray's younger nephew broke his mother's edict and called his uncle to tell him about his nightmare. None too soon, either...

Two days later, despite being in space, quite a lot of people heard Major Thomas Hogarth scream. The President and the Secretary of State immediately agreed they'd better contact the Ghostbusters- even if it meant acceding to one of Ray's anticipated weirder demands. The boys were flown to Washington, though Ray had a leetle bit of unexpected side contact. Once there, they got treated to an official Presidential briefing and a request to be the first people to fly Virgin Galactic into space- on the condition that they do so to rescue the remaining astronauts on the International Space Station, and that they pick up any 'special resources' Ray in particular might be able to find first.

Thus did Ray head to Milliways and look for assistance. Once his trip to Danny Phantom's world was over, he rustled up an interested group, and the briefing was given in room 2342. This was followed by worried in-depth discussions with Moiraine, Wesley, and Dr. Donighal. Once that was done with, the gang assembled in Milliways and headed out to New Mexico.

And then, for all our sanity's sakes, I suggest you head to the other summary post in Ray's LJ to see how it all worked out.

Huzzah to everyone, and thank you all so much for your enthusiasm and patience! I hope you enjoyed yourselves.
