This is me thanking you, because I am a big sappy creampuff.

In the past two days, I've had threads with a bunch of complete strangers, have been approached by the same over im and email, and generally made to feel like the world abruptly changed axis for a few hours. I have recieved two letters of gratitude -- one of which made me cry due to it's content (you know who you are; I'm glad for you, and my thoughts are with you) -- and in general, made to feel as if I am Hiro, after his first glorious 'port to New York. Yatta!

For those who don't know, there was Drama in the Heroes cast over the casting of Hiro. Tiny, insignificant drama. Some people didn't like some things; they chose to leave. Others didn't. We moved on; apps were sent and approved. But it's worth noting that there was some deep apprehension after I got the character. I posted him in, I held my breath. About ten, twenty minutes went by without a tag...

...and then I drowned in them; in IMs, in email, in tags... and apparently, I wasn't the only one that was gleeful over it. From the way some of you have come out of the woodwork -- people I've never spoken to, or have only heard of, or read threads of...

Thank you so much.

I am very grateful for this chance to not only expand the cast, and it's RP, as well as enjoy myself with new people-- but honestly? I'm grateful that I've inspired so many people and I'm glad you're as excited as I am. I'm grateful to know I touched you; that you laughed out loud, that I made your day brighter. There's been a lot of comments and ims and emails-- too many to seriously reply to each of you individually (which boggles my mind)... But it means something, and I wanted to say so. Hearing back from you -- over roleplay, even! -- means a lot to me; knowing simply that I made your day-- I'm glad! Whether you aren't familiar with Hiro or his canon, or you are -- the lot of you. You've made me feel like I'm walkin' on rose petals instead of on eggshells.

So. arigatou gozaimasu, Milliways! I'm glad we could make things great for each other!

As promised, here are the updated House of Arch Frequently Asked Questions.

If you live in, work in, or visit the House of Arch (or want to do any of those things), we ask that you read over these as soon as possible. There is some new information here and some old information that has been (we hope) made clearer and easier to understand. We will be enforcing these rules going forward.

If you have questions, comments, or concerns, let us know either by leaving a comment here or contacting one of us privately. We will be happy to address them.

Contact information for the maintainers is at the end of the FAQs, and the FAQs are also linked from the info page for [livejournal.com profile] house_of_arch.

Thank you!

Just to let everyone know, my college network is down and I have lost access to the internet. They are working on the problem, but I don't know when it will be fixed. Regardless, I will try to be online tonight using this computer.

Wish me luck!

So, every now and then, I get nostalgic and start rereading old threads I love. And it makes me curious about something. Ergo, this meme.

Of all the threads you've done with me (Faith, Doyle, Kingsley, Mimi, and once upon a time Joyce Summers and Daniel Jackson), which are your favorites?

Feel free to tag in to get others to answer this question for you, too.
