Back from temp hiatus

Ok, moving onto campus took longer than I thought.
Connecting to the gorram school network with its new policy requirements? (read: *only their contracted software utility software allowed, even if you have a better one. >.<)
Well, that took EVEN longer. So finally back online now. Will catch up with tags and slowtimes.
If I owe you a tag, or there's been plottiness one of my pups (Draco Malfoy, Nathan Petrelli, Truman Burbank, Johnny Smith, Rupert Giles, or even Kuan Yin) needs to know, give me a heads up here.

The Month Ahead

So when I get to work tomorrow, an uncommonly busy stretch will begin. This will be compounded by the arrival of the fall Jewish holidays, which will remove me from the office and the Internet for three days running three times in four weeks.

Therefore, it's very likely that I will be involved in a good deal fewer threads for a while and that any I do tag or start will need slowtime. This will especially be the case over the next two weeks. I won't be taking a hiatus completely, however.

In addition, unless specifcally requested for a thread, Captain Kirk is on a bit of a break. I've struggled with his voice and see this as a good time to recharge his batteries. As for my other pups when I am not playing, Gibbs is still going through canon, the dean is around but keeping to himself, and Knox is either at home or with Rapunzel.

So, as some of you may or may not know, I am starting college tomorrow!

I have 6 classes this semester (not a good thing - they made me do it!) so I am going to probably be VERY BUSY.

However! This does not mean that I'm going to be gone until December, no. I will NOT be EPing, though, so if you want a thread with me, LET ME KNOW and I will pencil you in! (If you can't remember who my pups are, just check the profile of this account.)

(Really, watching this just affirms my undying love for my pup and also amazement over the acting of Scott Cohen [Wolf's actor] and also the FANTASTIC character development that Wolf goes through during the course of the movie. Particularly the first two hours. It's so amazing.

Okay, some of you who I have already whined at will know that my laptop went into a coma a couple of days ago. Tonight, Dad having managed to get him open, we came to the decision that he was either dead or dead expensive to fix.

As you can guess, this was a bit of a bummer to say the least.

In terms of RPing, what it means is that I'm having to use the household computer, which in turn means a. I have to get off it when Dad goes to bed around midnight, b. When I'm actually on it tags may in fact be faster than they were, c. my parents have realised by my absence from downstairs with wireless just how much time I spend RPing and have already started giving me a hard time about it on day three, so I may be online less being forced to be sociable to shut them up.

On a brighter note, there is at least the prospect of a new laptop in the near future. Hopefully one that works this time. Until then, sorry for any inconvenience, I shall try and tag as normal. This affects Guppy, Shufti and Jack Manackle, Snowball, Johnny Private, John Steed and Wellington.
