Just wanted to keep everyone updated, at this point it looks like we may not be allowed back in to live till possibly the end of this week.

So that means I'm going to be in internet cafes and campus computers. Pretty much I'm going to not be doing a lot of new threads, I've gotten involved in the Kingdom Come plot but otherwise sadly no small talk threads.

Also tomorrow is a public holiday in New Zealand which will make internet tricky. Thanks for all your good thoughts and only 8 more days till I'm on my way back to the States and wireless internet that works.

ETA I'm not going to be going back into my flat before I leave. So I have no idea how much I'll be around, but I'll do my best since I miss you guys.

Hi hi hi, guys! I'm so sorry if I have a slowtime with you and haven't been tagging back -- I was planning on getting that jump-started again tonight, but there's been an emergency change of plans. (Nothing bad -- quite the opposite! A friend is having airport trouble and needs someplace to crash for the night. Chicago people, is this fog not insane?) Because IHOP seems to have missed the memo that Fat Tuesday, or the day in which to indulge in pancakes, is, er, tomorrow, not next week: tomorrow is Fat Tuesday! Or Mardi Gras! It has been Milliways tradition to shove unsuspecting characters into utterly ridiculous and embarrassing costumes on Mardi Gras! Why? Just cause. It's fun, and stuff. Yeah.

buongiornodaisy's recent post about Mardi Gras made me realize something - it's two days past my first Milliversary.

About a year ago, YT came to Milliways for the first time. Now I've somehow got eight pups. I never thought I'd have a male pup and whoops, I have three. Never thought I'd have two characters in the same canon, but in the last app period, that's what I got.

I've had good times and rough times with this whole thing, gotten excited or anxious about it to a ridiculous degree, and...well, it's become part of my life. There's a lot of people I have to thank for making it so enjoyable - I'm pretty sure they know who they are.

Here's to a year of Milliways, and hoping for many happy returns of my Milliversary.
