In the wake of this thread, if your pup was a nightmare sufferer who was sleeping in the gym, please handwave that Indy popped his head in tonight and gave them the all clear to go back to their rooms.

His summary of 'why' it's all clear will be pretty much verbatim from Lilly's report in the linked thread. Your pups are free to stay there longer if they are still suspicious. But, at some point they're going to realize they haven't had a nightmare for a while, thus verifying the report.

The gym will be returned to its normal state by this coming Monday.

Lexie here, bringing you your regular Thursday night pimps, which are:

-Laini introduces Zed to a new drink.
-Hurricane Frasier meets coastline Niles. Chaos ensues. Krycek is a bad, bad man.
-Michael explains the Bluth family dynamics to Kate.

In ze weekly Thursday request, if you post here to thank someone for pimping you, please make a pimp of your own. It only takes an extra minute or two to find a thread that you like, and not only do you thank someone, but you wind up potentially making someone else's day, too! Score and double score!

What are you pimping tonight, Milliways? Bear in mind that there hasn't been a pimp post since Sunday, so please, bring to light all the awesome from this week that has as yet gone unheralded!

Character analysis edition!

In the comments below, put the name of a character who you do not play in the subject line, then write about either:

1) how one of your character's opinions of the named character has changed over time, or
2) why your pup does or does not get along with the named pup.

So, um.

I have a bad habit of pulling a character out of the Bar and not feeling right about putting them back into the Bar if they're part of a plot that's being prethreaded and gets stalled- just in case something goes wrong. It's counterproductive and it really doesn't make anyone's RP any easier, and I need to get over it, but I also need to get off my butt and get plottage going again.

All y'all with Sneakers pups and headvoices? I've got company coming over tonight, but this weekend/week to come we should probably hash out what we can do about finishing Sneakers canon. Via email, since our AIM access times differ much too much. I'm available as camwyn at megaloceros dot net.

My apologies for not doing this sooner, and I'll be putting Whistler in later today to kick myself into working on my part of the Sneakers plotfoo, I promise.

From last week's Happy Hour:

Indy and Elizabeth Turner renew acquaintances after a rocky first meeting. Some epic adventure stories are exchanged, at great length, and ultimately Indy secures a vacation trip for him and Tere on The Empress. The trip will come at a price though. Dun dun duhhh.

Bartending is up, guys~

I'll probably be online (off and on) 'til, I dunno, let's say 2am GMT, so tag up to then. Fair warning though, I'm totes dying of pneumonia (by which I mean a bad cough and general "ugh" feeling), so I might be slower than usual.

Yes, I'm aware this means like, snail speed.

A very important question was raised in the FAQ: Total Recall and You.
In fact, it's so important that I'm linking to it here.

Actually no, it's too important for a mere hotlink. No this thing needs to have a transcript right here and now:

Hey, I've got a dorky ass question, my darlings:

We can ignore this is if we don't feel up to playing with this idea, can't we? This is not a requirement and mandatory in order to play in Milliways that says if we don't play with idea, we will be kicked out, correct?

Sorry, I'm not trying to be a problem. I've just seen so many OOC freak outs, even when I tried to explain this a few times. I wanted to ask to make sure I wasn't lying to someone.

NO! Not a problem at all! Thank you for asking!
I've kind of noticed that my own self.
This, like every plot run in Milliways, is entirely voluntary.
You don't have to play if you don't want to play.

No player should feel forced or obligated in any way to participate.
The only punishments are the ones you dream up yourself and inflict upon your own characters.

No one has been keeping any sort of ledger on what's been bought, sold, used, or ordered.

Whether or not your characters maintain balanced accounts is entirely up to you, the players.
The only folk who should be freaking out are the characters, and even then it's only if you, their players, want them to.

Hey, Greek-mythology-Olympic-type people! I'm trying to collect some Millicanon; care to take a gander and weigh in? :) Thanks!
