Wall-E & Gordon Freeman, for an absolutely adorable moment.

Simon & Kaylee, it's an OOM and not so happy as the first link but it's still a great read, I'm always in awe of how real their voices are.

Miss Katherine Barlow & Ben Wade, this is a pup I'm really thrilled to see in bar (and not just cause Doc's chatting with her) but the thread with Ben is just classic.

Dinah's oviously not been in the bar very long, but it's safe to say in a handwavey way that she's been in a lot in that time. She'll now be out of the bar for a few days. If you have a pup she'd begun seeing regualry - working, training or whatever, you may feel free to notice she suddenly stopped showing up. She'll explain why when she returns.


And in case you're interested, though I'd doubt you are - the adventure the Justice Society returned from in her most recent OOM wuold be a very rough approxmation of the events of the Justice League of America #73/74

— Indy and Veronica engage in some verbal sparring, until Indy eventually reveals the news of his vacating room-mate. The relevance of this thread may be unclear now, but there's cracky fun ahead, I promise.

— Goldilocks and Agent K work on the Fable's formal MiB application, and pretty much seal Zed's doom. Cracky fun is guaranteed in the wake of this one too. Watch this space!

Hokay, so. Parents and I are leaving for vacation tomorrow morning. We'll be in Hawaii for two weeks, and I have no idea what the state of the Internet's going to be. Suffice to say if I do get on, it'll be five hours behind my usual time zone.
I say this because while I haven't played most of my usual suspects lately (I really need to get back on that), a) I got a newbie in last night, b) I have an inordinate number of mixed_muses threads open, and c) there's still technically Sneakers canon-plot-things to be had (though not many, and I may not be absolutely required). Most of the MM threads, as well as what I've got here, might be better off fading after whatever gets done tonight - that'd be Cata, Jarvis, and the one thing with Regulus.
Sneakers people, feel free to carry on OOMing without me, if the mood strikes.

Otherwise? If you need me or mine (list on my profile) before the 28th, your best bet's to email me. I should be back to my usual level of (in)activity by the 28th; don't burn down the bar without me.

Paging adventurous pups!

Tanya Adams will be entering the Bar in a hurry soon, seeking helpers for a dangerous rescue mission.

Professor Einstein was captured by the Soviets and is being forced to work for them. He is being kept at a research center inside a soviet base in austria, and the Allied high command has simple plan to rescue him, in a four-pronged coordinated attack:

- Disable the power plants that power the base, so most systems will go offline;

- Disable the radar dome;

- Disable surface-to-air missile sites.

With those three objectives accomplished, a 4th team can infiltrate the research facility and take Einstein to a predefined area, where a fast, low-flying transport chopper will swing in and provide evacuation.

Soo... we have room for 4-8 pups in this. Can you be sneaky, crafty and destructive, so Tanya can steal Einstein away from the Reds right under their noses?

She will enter the bar and look out for the people who did offer to help before, but people can overhear and tag in, or just strike conversation and she will probably mention she is looking for help.

Mercenary-type pups? She can offer compensation in money or in soviet gadgets.
