Short Leave of Absence

On Sunday, Batya and I plan to be off to New Orleans to visit family for a few days. There is a very good likelihood we will not have any sort of net access there, and not a lot of RP time for me even if we do. So assume I will be away from the Bar for the most part from this evening at 7 pm till Wednesday afternoon.

In terms of Charlie and the BooPlot, I think that if things get going while I am away, he'll just have to stay in the background. In terms of any other threads I have going, I will do what I can to tag up when I can. In terms of the WestPlot, I still hope to have Charlie and Knox participate in the investigation, but will see where things stands next week.

It occurs to me that there's a possibility someone out there has been following the DC comic title Green Arrow/Black Canary, and wondering exactly how I plan to incorporate the way in which Andrew Kreisburg has been writing BC's back story into my in-game depiction of the teenage Dinah Lance.

So, I decided to address these possible questions in this here back room post, just for anyone who's interested.

( I'll be as succinct as possible. )

There has been a lot of awesome organizing and tidying up thanks to the hard work of all of the mods. Thanks, you guys, seriously.

Georgia mentioned the other night that it would be timely for us over at the house_of_arch to do likewise. And, uh, I have been a very, very bad organizer, especially in regards to Ingress' schooling. I know that Zhaan is still an active teacher in the HoA Academy, but I am not sure anyone else is. Mea culpa, guys. I really let that go in a bad way.

But now we have a chance to start afresh. If you have a character who is a guest or visitor in the House of Arch or is a staff member of the HoA Academy, please mosey over to this post in hoa_guests. We just want to check in and make sure that our information is up-to-date. And, uh, so I know who is teaching my child character this fall. *facepalm*
