First order of business: Happy birthday, copinggoggles!

OoB2: I suppose an update of my logistics of late is in order. My hours at work changed as of August 1, and I now work a twisted version of a 9/80 schedule. What this means is I get into work at about 6:30 am instead of 8, and every other Friday I have off. My next Friday off is this week, so someone will have to pick up the DE for me for that day. More on that tomorrow though!

Topic: Random declarations day! Fandomy or no, but preferably fandomy.

Example: I'm not sure I can adequately explain my disappointment that Skin of a Killer from the Twilight score doesn't sound a lot more like this. I weep. xD

Okay, so you guys know how I'm going to culinary school?

That's tomorrow. I'm moving tomorrow. Holy shit, that was quick!

Tomorrow will be spent on the road to Georgia. Since Dad and I don't want to drive in unfamiliar territory at dark, I might be around tomorrow night, depending on whether the hotel of choice has internets or not. After that, there will be orientation and such, but I'm confident there's internet (since the college has a website that they clearly want students to use) and once I'm in the swing of things, my classes will run like a part-time work schedule, from 12-5 pm on Monday through Friday. I will be changing timezones, but just skipping ahead one hour, which will probably make some roleplaying here smoother for me actually.

If there's a thread that you have with Mia (this journal, and I'm pretty sure she's the only one I have out right now) that can't wait until Monday evening-ish, we should get it done now.
