aaaaaaaagh_skyEllen and William will be returning today from their trip in the Capital Wasteland to escort a water caravan from Rivet City to Canterbury Commons. Aside from a mad Brahmin stampede- yes, those happen in game, and yes, they happen in areas that are, technically, completely paved over because they used to be riverside Metro stations- it was a relatively decent ride. I'm going to be giving Ellen a little time at home in Megaton before sending her out again, but when I do, it's going to be for a long haul. Would anyone be interested in visiting the Republic of Dave? It's the farthest north settlement in the Capital Wasteland and the way there has plenty of room for adventures and horrible things to happen. Or not so horrible if you just want a visit from the Angel of Surrealism (let me put it like this, it would not be hard to stumble across the Roach King and his minions).
Fawkes is also going to be traveling soon, if you'd be interested in heading westward across the Wasteland instead. His destination is Little Lamplight, the cavern system full of children who kick people out when they turn sixteen. That's probably going to be more combat-intensive, given some of the areas his group has to pass through, but it's still open.
Let me know if you want to give either journey a shot, and we'll arrange something!
