waco_jimBBQ Platypus here. I'm not sure if this is the proper way to introduce oneself, but here goes. I stumbled onto this place via TV Tropes (![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
acts_of_gord is on their list of recommended Half-Life fics) and it stirred some of the very nerdiest parts of my soul. So I weighed the fun of joining against the amount of spare time I'm likely to have in the coming months...and then I went ahead and did it anyway.
My last exam's this Thursday, so Jim should pop in sometime shortly after that. I'm really only familiar with the general concept of this place and a few of the pups and plot threads, so I'm not quite sure how you go about introductions. Do you just wing it or plan it in advance?
