It occurred to me today that there are things I know I should know about Milliways, but that I kind of . . . don't, even after more than six years here. Like, for example, I know that there's a karaoke machine, and I know it's evil -- or at least, I think I know those things -- but I have no idea how that evil manifests itself, or how a person gets away from it.

And it occurs to me that there may be other people with questions about things they only half-know, or have seen referenced but never quite tracked down the source of. And with the bar's new lease on virtual life, it seemed a good time to offer an opportunity to ask them.

So . . .

If anyone else has questions about the bar and its history and environs, I invite you to leave them here.

No, really, Teja needs to keep away from his people in Gotland for a bit, so he's lost the bracelet from Sirona (that works as his key there) during the allpocalypse, after taking Beaut through the door to Gotland, while racing back to the stables and Kate.

Whoever has found the bracelet should keep it until around spring equinox and then catch up with Teja and return the bracelet.

Any takers? First come, first serve -- barring utterly incompatible time zones and playing times. I'm in GMT +1, and on in my evenings.

Half-Life 2, Episode SCREW YOU VALVE I'M DRIVING NOW

Hi, everyone. Before the move, there were more than a few people who had expressed an interest in coming along with Gordon and Alyx and Adrian and the whole merry gang of idiots to assault the main Combine atmosphere processing plant left on Earth. Given how big of an operation this would be, and how many people were interested, we'd like to ask the following:

If you're still interested, please email me at camwyn at megaloceros dot net and let me know what you want your character to get a chance at. We're going to work with everyone who participates and have each person write their own throwdown OOMs, wherein they are Badass and/or get Hurt to their little hearts' content, and then string it all together for the actual destruction of the Gene Worm. We'll find something appropriate to most characters' power levels, I think, although the more godly/cosmic ones may be a bit more difficult- anyway, send me an email about this, and we'll see what we can arrange with you, okay?
