Announcement: Dropping a Pup

My current schedule has caused me to give thought to who exactly I'm spending my time playing as. As such, I've decided to drop John McCabe. I've never felt he was really a good fit around here, and I just can't think of how to develop his character - especially not in a way that doesn't feel to me like a betrayal of the ending of the film. Nor does a pre-death reboot work - as was the case with Cam and Thalestris, I would have to come up with some pretty contrived excuses in order to not have one of the superpowered characters in the bar help him out. But most importantly, I just don't hear his headvoice very often.

I was never planning on playing him permanently anyway, so this message would have been coming within six months of now at most. I have another pup I'm thinking of apping within the week who'd fill the "grim and self-medicating" niche very nicely, and leave more options for other types of play as well.

Wednesday Night Shout Outs!

Goooooood evening, Milliways! I had a most excellent time seeing so many of you in person over the month of September, but it's good to be home! Thank you again to everybody who covered the Shout Outs for me while I was gone. :D

Now, it's time for you to tote out the best things from this past week. What have you been loving, Milliways? Help me catch up, and make somebody's day!

• So it begins. The Slenderman plot is underway! Creepy, yes, but some of these reactions had me laughing as well.
  
• Amy's EP. All three threads are completely lovely. I can't recommend Amy's stuff enough. And, on that note...
  
• X-23 and Susan. The synopsis says it best: In which there is a sacrificial page boy and a fretful ghost. And a tea party.

I know there is so much more awesome out there, folks, especially the further back you scroll. So help me out and shout out something I missed, or second, third, forth what's already here!
