Another great one from Flynn:
+ Tag in with your pups, and we'll tell you the first thing we remember or think about when we see your pup in bar.

Hi, everyone.

There's a lot of serious stuff going on in the real world right now, on international, national, and local levels. I just wanted to take this opportunity to remind people that this is Milliways, and that we come here to enjoy ourselves and have fun. We come here to write and express ourselves and overall, to get away from the real world for a time. Sure, it may influence our RP or our ideas, but Milliways is a bar at the end of the universe where anybody can meet anybody else. When it comes to the game, please, remember to relax. This is a haven; this is a game.

Wadewilson said it best: "You are playing a game where you use the impersonal magic of the Internets to pretend to be superheroes or fantasy characters or characters on a television show or goofy anime movie. YOU CANNOT TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY.... The moment you put a 'but' after 'pretendy fun time games,' you've missed the point."

I know the game is an important place to people, but in the end, it's a game. With everything else going on in all of our lives and all of our countries I wanted to make sure people remembered that.

Thank you.

Gooood moooooorning, Milliways!

Let's talk about fun things we can do with tags! A lot of you probably know this already, but you can narrow posts down by more than one pup. Like so:

http://milliways-bar.dreamwidth.org/tag/[name],[name+name],[name+name+name]?mode=all

So for example, if I wanted posts tagged by, say, Autor, Sunshine, and Lohengrin I'd work it like so:

http://milliways-bar.dreamwidth.org/tag/autor,rae+%22sunshine%22+seddon,loengrin+(the+knight)?mode=all

There's also ?mode=or, which is any thread tagged with Autor OR Sunshine OR Lohengrin... which is a hell of a lot of threads.

Remember to use %22 for quotation marks, otherwise the html gets fussy. Have fun!
