DE: Social Media rollcall + idiolect

Yesterday, a post made its way around Millifolken on Tumblr in which we were looking for each other, past and present, to maybe add to our dashboards.
On its heel came the post with the news about the Dark Tower movie, which of course was one of THE five or seven seminal canons from the beginning of bar which have lastingly shaped the language and culture of Milliways -- the word 'folken' or the term 'say sorry' hail from it as well, as far as I know.
So, two-parter:
1) Tag in with whatever social media / blogging links you are comfortable sharing -- LJ and DW, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Tumblr, so people can add you if they want to.
2) Talk a bit about the lasting imprints that some canons have left on Milliways, especially on the language, but also on the scenery and permanent features -- the lake, for example, is a mix of Harry Potter and PotC. I do especially love the way we have our own expressions AKA idiolect -- many of those came into existence during the first few months in which the community and culture established itself, but new things are added all the time.
