I made a Milliways background mix over at Ambient-Mixer.com! Thoughts? Editing suggestions? I couldn't find a sound for "the universe exploding," so I went with an ion cannon the sounds of distant warfare (more protracted than the ion cannon).

A very cool friend visited from Canada last week. She brought me Coffee Crisps* and tea; she was amused to see things in the grocery stores that she knew only from American commercials. I apologized for the presidential election. She graciously translated her rational system of measurements into the much-more-dramatic Fahrenheit for me when we talked about weather.

SO, MILLIWAYS: if your characters were visiting back and forth between worlds, what would they bring their hosts as representative presents? What sights would they want to show a guest? What would they warn them about? And what would they want to see in another world? What would they want to take home as souvenirs?



* Actually they were Coffin Crisps, very spooky for Halloween!
