Find the nearest book (or whatever's on your kindle, or I mean some book you like, I'm not checking up on you) and use the very first sentence to start a mini-fic for your character.
(For example: "Call me Ishmael." As soon as he'd said the words, Bossuet was kicking himself. All the possible false names he could have given the police, and he'd stuck himself with Ishmael?)
