CONTACT LIST!

So, first, the bad news: recently, the domain that was hosting the Milliways Contact List burnt down, fell over and sank into the swamp, taking our database of OOC contact info with it.

The good news, however: Rue, the original maintainer of said contact list, has graciously allowed me to build another one that will stay up. :D So...

The new URL of the OOC contact list is http://milliways.purplebrickroad.net/.

Since this is effectively a brand-new list, even if you've already put your contact info into the database before, you'll have to hop over there and re-add yourself if you want to stay on it. (Think of it as an easy way to make all those edits to your contact info that you've been wanting to make for a while! Or, er...something.) Like it says in the milliways_bar userinfo, adding yourself to the list is by no means a mandatory thing, but it's a good way to help us keep in touch with one another to plot, squee, or share o_O moments.

Also, unfortunately, because of quirks with the CGI script, you won't be able to edit your info once it's in there; I have to go into the database and change things manually. Sucks, I know. However, I'm hoping to make a "Contact List Updates" post once every three months to keep things current, so keep an eye out for those as the new list grows.

(...And hey, look at that, I made it through an entire post about lists without cracking a single Heroes-related joke. HAH. I win.)

Not this one! Though...this is just the contact list. The cast list is still the province of you guys, I think. *apologetic*

Neither of the links is working for me, either... It's giving me a 'firefox cannot find the server at...' message.

I'm on Mac OS X version 10.4.10, using Firefox version 2.0.0.6

...that's even more bizarre; I've got the exact same configuration and no problems at all. (Though "cannot find server" stuff usually just means my host is being an ass and it'll be back online in a few minutes. Stupid host.)

I'll test it out on another computer as soon as I can wrangle it away from my mom, just to make sure.
