I'm a PhD student in dinosaur Palaeontology, now in my fourth and final year and trying to produce a thesis with no income at all. It's hard with my attention span, so I RP to pretend everything's OK. I live in London, talk a lot about the political and social influence of fiction, and never friends lock a thing on my journal.

I'm presently enrolled in my Masters for English, which should finish up around next Christmas. I work in a history museum giving science shows for children, and mostly getting paid to read text books and homework assignment by the river where no one comes to see me set up table.

I'm entirely distractable and inspirable, which would be why I have to convince myself not to app a new character (or two) every month. And really I'd love to thread/talk with everyone out there in Milliways. And, like most other students here, spend much more time I should on homework gaming. *sheepish grin*

I'm a senior English major, History minor, currently working on applying to various graduate programs in Library Science, where I will prepare myself for a life of getting other people hooked on various canons. :D I tend to play evil or morally questionable characters, because I get bored with good guys too easily. It's no wonder that I always cheer for the villains. I live in Arkansas, though it seems I won't be here for much longer, since all the graduate program's I'm looking at are in other states. I'm currently gathering information for a senior thesis on the use of knitting as a symbol for evil in literature. When I'm not doing that, I knit. *warm smile*

I'm a recent library science grad who, having finally hit the point where unemployment's stopped being relaxing and started driving me stir-crazy, is desperately seeking work anywhere that isn't within a hundred-mile radius of where I grew up. I've got a thing for digital copyright laws and preserving old books, but I don't talk about that as much now that I'm out of school; nowadays, I'm either spending way too much time yammering about TV shows (especially Heroes), infrequently making fanvids, and even less frequently writing fanfic. (And RPing, of course.)

I also still have pipe dreams of writing for a living, either as a novelist or -- if I thought I could make it in and out of Hollywood alive -- a TV writer. Working in a library's almost as good, though. *g*

I am 19 and Australian and, unlike a lot of people, am not a studen. Hopefully next year, with political science. I'm an undergrad studying mainly Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies, with some political science and anthropology. I'm usually in the US, but am studying in Cairo at the moment, hence I'm not around much because RPing in any timezone right now often means staying up all night for me, or at least getting up very early, so I'm mostly available Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. My journal is flocked, but I'll friend pretty much anyone who friends me, I just prefer to know who's reading.
