I want you to know, many people have suggested to me that I use Helen Mirren as a Sallie PB. *eyes her* I can just imagine icon fodder requiring me to have a character interact with another. *giggles*

I am so excited, it is terrifying. My excitement, that is; not the prospect of new canon. Jo is going to regret ever agreeing to see this with me. I keep saying it only because it's true.

My only concern with having Helen Mirren as Sallie is that Mirren is too...composed. Er. That's not the word. Outwardly elegant? Half the time Sallie is dealing with burly men that smell like horse. All I'm seeing Helen Mirren as is the Queen of England.

Hmm. This is a good point. But I think a lot of that is in her voice and the way that she carries herself, you know? Which doesn't exactly come across in icons.

Though she is generally very well put-together.

-- Is it really? I always just assumed it was silver; I guess I don't pay much attention. It should be pretty easy, though, at least with Photoshop; just use the bleach tool to remove some of the color. If you wind up do going the Mirren route and you want some icons fixed up, just say the word. I am an icon-making junkie.

The National Treasure movies aren't exactly intellectual fare; I'm pretty sure you'll be able to see the second without having seen the first. I mean, you know how the first one goes -- boys meet girl, boys steal Declaration of Independence and spend the entire ridiculous movie on the run from the bad guys and the FBI, boys and girl (and one boy's dad, but that is overcomplicating things and I don't like Ben's dad, anyway) find treasure, cooler boy gets the girl, dorkier boy gets a Ferrari -- so I'm pretty sure the only thing you'd miss are some stupid in-jokes with reference to the first film or something.

I think you should cave. :D
