Technically I still have TK (chosenhope), who I keep meaning to either delete or bring in from 02 ... he's the only one from Digimon.

And I think Desmond is the only Lost pup still around, for a given definition of "around" that includes "never actually posted in except when Cati remembers and feels guilty".

There are two pups on my roster which are each one of only two from their canons: Mel and Francesca, and one more (Cera) who is one of three, the other two of which are played by the same two muns as share Fray and Casanova with me.

I am the lonely canon queen! Charles Wallace, from the L'Engle-verse; Valerie's the only active V for Vendetta pup; Kim Merrill from Patricia C. Wrede's Regency books; Nirupam Singh from Witch Week; Tom from Jonathan Coulton's canon.

If I had to pick just one of those canons to beg for canonmates, I would beg for a V and/or an Evey. Begging for Vicky Austin, Meg Murry, Proginoskes, Canon Tallis, Adam Eddington, and Zachary Gray played by Jared Padalecki comes a very close second. :D

At some point, I'm planning on apping a villain, but she wouldn't be coming in until midsummer in any case, so I'm going to be focusing on midterms this app period.

My only lonely pup right now would be Tom Lefroy from the seemingly unpopular film, Becoming Jane. (It's hard to find people who actually liked it as a film in itself. I know a lot of people were griping about the inaccuracies, etc. but it isn't meant to be a biopic. As a story on its own, it's pretty! And it does fill a number of saptastic requirements! /rant)

ANYWAY. A Jane Austen would be flipping amazing. And because the film is a fictionalized account based on her life, one could have fun playing a legendary authoress!

Aside from that, could we request pups for other canons? Because it would be really, really cool if more people apped from Ratatouille...

Of my pups, only Gibbs has a lot of canon-company these days.

Dean O'Dell is from Veronica Mars, and while we can boast Ms Mars herself, and the amazing Lilly Kane, and a number of other really cool pups, we seem to be missing a few characters. No Keith, No Weevil, No Wallace, indeed almost no one that the Dean would have known aside from Veronica. (Anyone wanna play the board member played by Patty Hearst, for great "Alex is old enough to remember the Patty Hearst kidnapping" value?) I will add, though, that if anyone wants to bring in his killer or his wife and her lover, please talk to me first, as he only knows part of the story.

Kirk is, with the exception of Sariel Rager, the only active pup from a show with a vast and varied canon (with, alas, a dwindling and aging fanbase). I'm of two minds about seeing more Trek pups, in part because in 15 months, there will be the big JJ Abrams retcon and I think a lot of people will walk out of the theater ready to app Quinto's Spock and Pegg's Scotty, among others. But at the same time, I wouldn't mind the company for Jim.

And Knox? I kinda like having his Gotham to myself, but as I have long ago made his timeline that of the Chris Reeve Superman films and the 1990-91 Flash TV show, there are (in my mind) connected canons. And the Bar doesn't have a Lois Lane of any sort (though if someone wanted to app Margot Kidder's Lois, I would ask that he or she talk to Clark and Chloe's muns in case there are plans to have someone app the Smallville Lois).

Mallory from The Spiderwick Chronicles books is my lonely one. I would love to see more pups from there in the bar...it might inspire me to play a bit more, since no one else seems to know who she is or want to play with her when I do bring her in.

The rest of my pups are Air Gear characters, so they have plenty of canonmates to play off of whenever plausible. (This is awesome, but don't take it as an excuse not to pick up someone from Air Gear. You know you want some of that action. You know you do.)

As for apping, well, the Bar has a distinct lack of decent Relena Peacecraft-ing going on, so I thought I'd fix that ASAP. I'm not sure who I'll be apping besides her, yet.

Morwen and Larry are very nearly the only ones from their respective canons (not that I play them all that often... um). And Angel's pretty much the only one left from Rent.
Oh, and Erronius, if I ever get off my ass and get him in the damn bar. We had a Pseudolus once, but not for very long, and I don't think I even had a whiff of the headvoice at the time.

Johnny Smith's the only Dead Zone pup now. (We briefly had a Sarah I think? and a Alex but think both went Beyond the Rim) I would love a Bruce or Sarah again.
Stillson would be very ow for my pup, but don't let that stop anyone. Megalomanical politician who's destined to destroy the world anyone? :D?

Truman Burbank's the only Truman Show pup. I used to hope for a Sylvia at least but he's now got potential with Ella so the poor boy can stop pining about the other. Heh. A Christof would cause such WTF heheh. Especially with the long going plotty back in Truman's world.

Kate Bishop's a Marvel pup so she sort of has canon mates, and yet, I think Iron Lad was one of Sam's so she's now the only Young Avengers pup again. I would love, love, love for her teammates to show up. Especially a Patriot, Speed, Hulkling, or Wiccan. VISION (2.0) would be lovely too. Stature would cause some breaky ow if it's after Civil War canon but still be fun.

Crazily enough, considering the popularity of the canon, Indy is a lonely pup.

We had a Marion back in the early days, and if anyone sees this and would be interested in re-apping her... I might have taken the time to make 40 icons (http://pics.livejournal.com/sir_gareth/gallery/00025sb0) for her a few weeks ago when I was bored. *shifty*

We had a Short Round for a very brief time.

We have a Marcus Brody, a Sallah and a Henry Senior, but they're all owned by me and have only been used in OOMs so far. And not even that for Henry Sr. So... maybe that doesn't make him lonely. It just makes me a selfish monopolizing git! Um.

The Great Librarian, now that he's in and known, is the only Lovecraftian pup other than Nyarlathotep. He's also the only character from his videogame canon, Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth.

Yes, he'll be coming back on an ongoing basis. I always liked the Yithians.

Sanzou's all by his lonesome as the other characters from the series were deleted quite some time ago. Saiyuki's fun, and is the sort of thing that can only be achieved by putting the original Journey to the West into a blender and then setting it in a probably post-apocalyptic world- the dragon turns into a Jeep instead of a horse(easier to fit four people that way,) the monk carries a Smith and Wesson banishing gun and smokes, the Monkey King is an apparent teenager who spent five hundred years under a mountain and is thus always starving (he also turns into a ravening monster when you remove his headband,) the virtuous Friar Sand is a lecherous water-sprite, and Pigsy is a rather bland young man who also happens to be a mass-murderer. Despite how cracky it sounds, Saiyuki is a very serious manga with a very large number of fight scenes and a great deal of blood at some points. The manga, at least, is absolutely beautiful. The anime, on the other hand, isn't quite so pretty and it takes a large amount of deviations from the original manga due to having to be produced at a faster pace than the manga.

Shiori similarly is on her lonesome, as the entire Utena cast seems to have left for greener pastures.

Given the sheer size of the universe from which Shulkie comes from, I think there are categories of subcanon. I sometimes feel like She-Hulk is off in her own little corner of Milliways, since she has no one from her immediate circle of friends and family to play with, we lacked Avengers and Fantastic Four for the longest time (thank the heavens we got a Hawkeye and Scarlet Witch, where are you two marvelous players, you need to both post more!), and most of the other Marvel characters she hasn't had a chance to intersect with (that, and the X-verse pups seem to be mostly busy with each other with plots or something, if I'm reading correctly.) I need to have her tag out more to other Marvel pups and hope she gets tagged in return.

Lockjaw has no Inhumans or Fantastic Four to play with. :-(
