I don't recommend the sandbox to oneself.

Especially when Eureka is a big enough sandbox for everyone.

Depends on the sandbox, I think, and the character. I mean, there's a certain freedom in not having to check with anyone about the Millicanon you create and the entanglements you throw your character into. Right now, if I want to do a crackplot or throw someone into an OOM battle, I have to think about the IC repercussions with canonmates for every single one.

On the other hand... it's nice to have canonmates. *grin* And especially if your character does have close canonical friendships you're having to offscreen or NPC, or if you want people playing along in that world.
