Anywho! Onto the topic: Every fandom has certain litmus tests to see what level of way-too-involved you are. In my experience, a lot of the time, my way-too-involved starts to show when I explain very minute details of a scene/prop/whatever in a way that the average enthusiast might not know about.

Example? Where the hell is Wash's steering wheel?

Anyone else have experience with this?

OMG height. *facepalms* Which is why there was much handwaving as to "how tall Wellard is" until I tracked down a different actor's height, and freezeframed several scenes in the movie. "Well, he's taller than Archie there- he's just slumping a bit, but taller. Ok, and Jamie Bamber is..."
