It's your friendly, Neighborhood canon-reset!

Just an FYI: I'm your newly-adopted out Spider-Man! And yes, we are having a full canon reset AND persona reset. This is Movieverse Spider-Man (meaning that concievably, if Marvel gets it's head on straight and wrangles Sony, the Avengers can happen for this Spidey). Anything that happened with the old Peter: Well... do a Wayne's World time-travel finger wiggle and doodily-doo, and it's all past and gone and no longer important to this Peter's history or future.

He is coming in sometime in the first movie or second movie (haven't decided which) and will go through canon from there to adventure his way up to the third movie... and then we'll have to figure things out. -_-; (Oh, man, that movie blew.)

Anyway! Just leave comments if you have questions; no, you shouldn't be able to recognize Peter from the old Peter's looks (they are really different people, not to mention very different ages), yes, I'm in the market for an MJ but I'd like you to talk to me first, etc.

And: Go web~! :D

For the record, I liked the third film. Though probably because Peter was improbably popular, and I was glad to see that.

Otherwise, glad to have a movie Spidey. But what we REALLY need is a JJJ, from any canon.

The third film suffered from 'too many stories'; over all it wasn't a bad film, but it was signifcantly weaker then the previous two, which sort of set the bar for what comic book movies should be (and was then raised by Iron Man and The Dark Knight, though I consider the latter less a 'comic book' movie and it's own animal more and more these days).

Really, they should have cut The Sandman storyline out, handled Venom only, and made it a singular, more coherant story, and still been able to handle the Goblin issue too.

I agree with Alex - I though the third film had a few excellent sequences, particularly the part with Flint Marko first transforming into Sandman. But then again, I like old school characters because I go way back with Spider-Man.
