I am back? Kinda? Well, will be definitely tomorrow! (Assuming Time Warner shows up like promised.)

I am spending the afternoon in library/internet cafes to do work, so if you wanna talk ooming travel fun, ping me at Enelya Sol or we can just have a discussion here!

Tomorrow is an awesome day for planning and threading for me too, while today is work and then later its many hours without internet until later CST. I am sort of here for planning if you're okay with the fact I may have time gaps in responding while busy.

Thank you! It's been a bit of a challenge, I've realised, to actually do work without internet. (And thanks. The guy I spoke to Tuesday seemed rather confident they'd make it in the AM tomorrow.)

Time gaps are totally fine by me, as I'll probably be doing the same when it really hits me that I have till Monday to write a proposal for my masters thesis. And the fact the library closes at six (but I have to be home before that to feed fish).

But uh, either way! I was leaning towards making up a Dagobah like planet, but now Jenny's leaning towards planet hopping and showing Edward how to have fun. Any ideas/suggestions/etc?

Intense weekend for work then. What is your topic, if you don't mind me asking? And when do you have to eventually have it (the thesis, not proposal) completed by?

I am for all of the above things. They could always start out on the said Dagobah planet of planned already and simply move on from there. I am not against making him get outside of his box, since he will end up having fun. Also it will make him stop brooding about Bella *face palms at pup* and Washington. And maybe it will lend to why he thinks he can go home. I do not know! We will see!

It's on the acoustic effects coastal wind farms can have on cetaceans and possibly tying that in to the current debate over building one in Cape Cod. Or something like that. With possible comparison to current energy projects and their affects on marine life. I am clearly still working out the kinks. Thankfully, I have till the end of the school year to complete it.

I think that could work. Jenny'll probably tire of a swamp quickly enough and making up other planets is fun. Especially if it'll help him with brooding issues. The poor boy. So, yes! If you are game for making it up as we go along, so am I! I can post something in Jenny's journal for the OOM and when I get internets back properly this weekend, an EP for her in bar for Edward to tag and get this thing rolling?

Ahaha, thank you. It's what happens when you decide to go for your masters in environmental school. But, on the plus side, it also means I get to live in a small fishing/tourist community for this school year where I can walk to places and not get funny looks! Out of curiosity, what are you doing yorus on?

Hooray! I am all excited about this, in large part because Jenny is the first person to keep him talking and not so much being close to the vest.

And dammit there should be Cullen's so he will just relax and be himself, instead of keeping most everyone a football field away from him.

OH! It's the very beginning. They meet at school, he see's her across the cafeteria and everything stills cool, but then we progress to Biology class where he's suddenly a black eyed bastard, followed up by a scene in the office where he's once again terrifying to Bella, who the two of them haven't even exchanged one word at this point......then he's gone for the rest of the school week and weekend in Alaska with Denalli clan trying to deal with the effect that Bella's blood had on him. All before they actually talk or the car/van scene happens.

Apparently writing OOMs is more interesting than writing proposals. I am glad you're excited by this, because I am too! I think one of Jenny's new goals in life is to make Edward laugh. She has interesting goals, as well as very interesting taste in friends as I've been noticing.

...there needs to be an Alice in bar so she and Jenny can meet. I think Jenny would love Alice forever if she offered to take her shopping. And conspire with her to make Edward have fun.

He is so totally Jenny's newest BFF now whether he likes it or not. She adores him probably as much as I'm adoring these threads.

I am quite in favor of the fun (and funny) mixture the two of them make against each other. She's probably going to be the first person in Milliways he does regard as a friend, and I can see so many different place in further canon and Bella things where he's be pinging back to things already happened/discussed with Jenny.

I think being friends with Edward will be good for her, too. Especially when she starts dealing with the "I'm going to live way longer than everyone I know" angst. But right now they can be awesome and shmoopy and BFFs!

Also, before I tag actual post, question! In a race between Bart and Edward, who do you think would win? I've been trying to do the speed comparisons and I'm leaning towards Bart because of what I know of DC canon, but I wanted to get your opinion on this, too.

I think it will do them both good. Edwards already catching on to what they have in common and being doggedly persistent in trying to ignore it because of his normal life style.

I am on board for conversations later about living forever! And possibly about girls, too. Even if my head voice just scowled at me.

I am uncertain? I have been wondering the same thing for the last about half hour. I know it only takes him moments to cross a space it takes five hours for a human to hike. That's really the only descriptive time frame to space we're given aside from "inhumanly fast." I can't see him being as fast as Superman though and Superman-Flash race 3 pretty much ties them, so I'm going to have to go with no, he's not as fast as the Flash?

Okay, yeah, I think I'm going to agree with this. From what I can remember of Smallville and comic stuff, it takes Bart much less time than moments to cross a space it takes five hours for a human to hike. I know in the cross the US OOM Bart-mun and I did, it took him less than an hour to get from place to place. And especially given Superman as a judge (Bart is faster than Clark in Smallville), yeah.
