Whenever I saw those Smallville episodes I went huh, wait that is him. He does a very adorable dorky doctor.

Doppelgangers are so much fun, I admit to having a rather large amount of evil fun with Will due to some of the crazy roles that James McAvoy has taken.

He REALLY does. *g* He had a brief scene in Watchmen, too, which ended up on the cutting room floor and also featured him as an adorable scientist type. I fear the poor man's getting typecast a bit.

(Not that I mind. I'm just sayin'.)

And I am right there with you re: being a major sucker for the doppelganger trope! Plus, considering what doppelgangers tend to signify in BSGverse...wheeheehee extra fun in Gaeta's case.
