You've got ten minutes to pack for a six month interstellar cruise. (Assume the wee bairn is already covered by a complimentary nanny. Yes, they take 'all inclusive' very seriously.)

Camera.
Pen and Paper.
Guitar.
Laptop.
Underwear.
Toothbrush.

Anything else would be entirely unnecessary (assuming there are clothes shops out there in space). Music and something to write with, that's all I need. :)
