At other weddings I've been to that have had dancing, if you just play what's popular people tend to be pretty happy. I like gentle instrumentals and/or standards for, background music during meals, too.

It's Counting Crows, not The Counting Crows. The crows are being counted, not doing the counting. (It's a reference to those rhymes about telling your fortune by counting how many magpies you see, but different corvidae.)
