A Mun PSA

Many apologies for folks I am threading with, work is being slightly crazy after being really slow for the longest time. And let me tell you nothing is more fun than applying the same extensive changes to five different 100+ page manuals. Lucky me.

I don't want to drop the threads I have going but I likely won't get back to them until this weekend (for a tag or two) or next week. If that is too long a wait let me know and we can call it faded, though as I said before I'm not asking for fades, just patience. This affects Ben Grimm, Jessica Drew, and Julie Finster.

And speaking of Julie Finster ([livejournal.com profile] fiss84  ), part of her character is that she suffers from insecurities regarding her powers and her likelihood of becoming a successful hero. This stems from her power set being very common, so common in fact that there are 83 others with her powers. In canon they are referred to as FISSes (Flight, invulnerability, super strength, super speed) but we would likely call them flying bricks.

Anyway, I bring this up as I was going to have Bar start giving her comics of successful FISSes to encourage her. This of course runs the risk of canon punching so I want to give those muns with pups the chance to say, "No don't give her any comics from my character please."

I honestly haven't looked too closely at the cast list but the FISSes that come to mind are Clark Kent and Kara Zor-El from Smallville (obviously Julie would be reading the DC comics versions of these characters), Wonder Woman and Super Boy from DC comics and She-hulk from Marvel (though she doesn't fly). I will be giving her other characters to read (unless pups from that canon request me not to) and will not single out Milliways patrons. In fact if you can think of any flying bricks I'd love the recommendation!
