Stand in DE
Why does it feel so weird for me to not have a DE?
Anyway, let's play six degrees of separation! In case you are unfamiliar with the game, you connect two seemingly different and unconnected people in as few "steps" as possible. Since this is Milliways, let's include authors as well as character histories. But let's leave out Milliways and pup genres as that makes it too easy.
An example that occurs to me is Ben Grimm -> Deadpool (they had a team up) -> Agent X (who is a clone of Deadpool) -> Gail Simon (who wrote the comic series Agent X) -> Wonder Woman (Gail also was a recent writer for the Wonder Woman comic series). I could go even shorter by going Ben Grimm -> John Byrne -> Super Man -> Wonder Woman.
So have fun, just be sure to show your work. Or post in with a pup and have other people do the work with their pups. Just remember Milliways and genre can not be a connecting dot...unless the connection is Douglas Adam's restaurant.

How about Enzo -> ReBoot -> Indiana Jones (didn't ReBoot do a spoof?) ->Ben Grimm risking copyright infringement (https://plus.google.com/u/0/117315639265009680680/posts?hl=en)
Or Enzo -> Reboot -> Marv Wolfman -> Fantastic Four ->Ben Grimm

Felix is... rather harder. Unless we can find a commonality between ReBoot and Mario Tennis...

I feel like it wouldn't be too hard to connect the rest of mine using books, PBs and other things.
Another easy connection would be Sameth and Will, Sameth's PB Will Young is in a new BBC series called Bedlam and James McAvoy starred in the Shakespeare Retold MacBeth. This is fun and I'll put my list up.
Will Scarlett-based on Paul Creswick's book, James McAvoy PB
Demeter-Kate Winslet and Judi Dench PB's
Moist von Lipwig-Jude Law PB
Jane Austen-Anne Hathaway PB
Sameth-Will Young PB
William Evans-Logan Lerman PB
Tumnus-James McAvoy PB
The Pirate King-Kevin Kline PB

The Pirate King -> Kevin Kline -> the Wild Wild West movie -> The Wild Wild West TV series -> Artemus Gordon.
True facts, when I was thinking about running Arty I almost went with the Kevin Kline version because you know Kevin Kline. = ]

In Making Money, Moist works with the Department of Necromancy at the University->Rincewind in his boring periods works both as Professor something Geography and in the library.

We have linkage of the soft squishy shy compassionate pony to the BIG GROUCHY COMPUTER PROGRAM Matrix.
However, through ReBoot we also have linkage to virtually every piece of animation made in the United States and/or Canada in the last twenty years, because Frank Welker was the voice of Frisket and Scuzzy on ReBoot. This is Frank Welker's IMDB actor credit list. My personal favorite is that we now have linkage between Fluttershy and several different versions of Megatron. Also, if one counts Robot Chicken, with Barack Obama.

Felix is from Golden Sun. Golden Sun is developed by Camelot Software Planning. Camelot developed We Love Golf!, which was published by Capcom. Robin Atkin Downes has provided voices in several Capcom games. He has also provided the voice of the Medic in Team Fortress 2. Team Fortress 2 is developed by Valve. Iikka Keränen is a level designer at Valve, and also worked on Thief II: The Metal Age. Thief II was developed by Looking Glass Studios. Another prominent employee of Looking Glass Studios' was Warren Spector, who later founded Junction Point Studios. Junction Point Studios developed Epic Mickey. The main antagonist of Epic Mickey was voiced by Frank Welker - linking, as you demonstrated, to Fluttershy. (He also provided a voice in My Little Pony: The Movie, which introduced Wind Whistler, but I don't play her yet - and may never, come to that.)
Looking Glass Studios went out of business while working with Eidos Interactive. Eidos Interactive was acquired by Square Enix. Square Enix (Square at the time of the first release) published Final Fantasy IV - Kain's canon.
(As a point of interest, several points on these chains - including Frank Welker and Looking Glass Studios - have links to various iterations of Star Trek, and Star Trek has been known to quote Gilbert and Sullivan, meaning that every single pup I've ever apped is linked in.)

Can I just say you rock at this game? And speaking of Moby Dick, this just reminded me of the Morgan Freeman Moby Dick movie with dragons. I wonder if it was any good.
Oh and I just thought of a funny six degrees, Ben Grimm, Val von Doom and Michael J. Fox via Jeph Loeb who wrote Teen Wolf and several issues of Fantastic Four.

Michael Trucco appeared as a detective in four episodes of Castle, which starred Nathan Filion. Nathan Filion voiced Hal Jordan in Green Lantern: Emerald Knights, in which Arnold Vosloo voiced Abin Sur. Arnold Vosloo played Dr. Peyton Westlake, aka Darkman, in Darkman II: The Return of Durant and Darkman III: Die Darkman Die. Sam Raimi was executive producer on both Darkman II and III. Sam Raimi graduated from Michigan State University. Dr. Terence Doom got his computer science and engineering degree at Michigan State University.
So we now have a link between Ultimates Ben and the real-world Dr. Doom.
