Today is what is supposed to be my office's Christmas party, but it has mutated into a retirement party for the man who is almost universally unliked in the office.

It's going to be a weird day. How are things where you are?

Iiiii drove my mother to work downtown so I can play in Atlanta while she works. Currently ensconced at the 10th and Piedmont Flying Biscuit. A good life decision. And I have a semester's worth of backlogged non-scholarly reading on the Kindle, and I'm pretending Yuletide doesn't exist because I am drawing a huge blank, and all in all I cannot complain!
