Today is what is supposed to be my office's Christmas party, but it has mutated into a retirement party for the man who is almost universally unliked in the office.

I keep having to restart/backtrack on my knitting project, people keep stopping in the middle of hallways, and the grocery store was out of anise extract.
Here's to hoping the other two grocery stores have some or those cookies just aren't getting made.
