the trouble with it is, Tyler doesn't much talk about his parents if he can help it. Part powerless shame, part they are so effing wtf in the head, part 'that question again'.

No seriously. We have some canon proof that his father seriously believes that Tyler is someday going to be the mightiest power on earth by prophecy. This is truth, but not the way Ultima thinks it should be.

Also! A good chunk of the PS238 canon is now completely online, and for the foreseeable future it looks like aaron williams will be updating the online archives faster than the dead tree editions.

Heh. At this point in his life, not only is Tavi convinced he's an orphan and he spent his entire adolescence in absolute humiliation for being the only non-superpowered human in his whole kingdom/on his whole planet. And Tavi doesn't talk about his apparently-non-existant parents either. They probably wouldn't talk about the things they have in common. I just suspect they'd get on.

They are! Ultima mostly, and Supreme a little more in-touch with reality, bless her. things haven't gotten better with the whole twin issue.
