Test Drive Meme!
HOW TO PLAY:
* Tag into this post with a pup you're thinking of apping to the bar with a brief EP set within Milliways and/or its universe. You can be new to the game, or simply want to test out a fresh pup.
* If you already play at Milliways, feel free to tag in with your own characters and interact with the new pups. You can also post your own EPs for these new characters to thread with.
* Mingle, post, and have fun!

After another moment he looks back down at the object, then up at her. "I guess I could try."
After carefully setting down his book--making sure it's closed, so the pages don't get damaged--he tosses the part back up to her. His aim is inexpert at best, though.

"Well, it was worth a shot," she says, with a wry smile. "Thanks for trying. I'll get it when I come down."
And then she actually gets a good look at the kid - and the book, for that matter. "You new?"

He's all of ten--this is probably a recipe for disaster.
And then he nods, picking his book back up and slinging his backpack to the front. As he stuffs the book inside, he explains, "I was heading out to go see... someone," because admitting you're visiting a psychiatrist even if he's really Jiminey Cricket isn't really fun, "but... the door messed up. Is it magic?"
no subject
"Nah, that's okay, lemme--" Her departure from the rafters is far from graceful, but fortunately, the table she lands on is pretty sturdy.
"Anyway," she says, once she's back on solid ground. "I don't know if the door itself qualifies as magic, but I wouldn't be surprised - I understand it likes to sneak up on people. Welcome to Milliways."

The drop makes him grin a little anyway--that's just kinda cool. Sorta something Emma would do.
"Milliways? That's a cool name." He looks around. "But what do I tell someone when I get home and I've been missing for... however long?"
no subject
Even if it's only happened to her twice.

He will not let it disappear. Or something. "What happens when it does?"

And it may hold a clue about the spell!

That part... took a while.

"What's limbo? What's it like?"
no subject
She's just counting her blessings that she got him out before she was the older sibling. It's been weird enough as it is.

Still, he looks a little confused. "But how did he not notice time was passing? People get older. Or... was time not moving for him and moving for you, like with this place?"
no subject
"I'm Claudia, by the way."
no subject
This is just getting really interesting--especially considering what Storybrooke is like. All kinds of possibilities...
"Henry."
no subject
And then she raises an eyebrow. "You know a blonde lady named Emma?"
no subject
"Yes--but there's probably more than one blonde lady named Emma. Is she from Storybrooke?"
no subject
(There may be more than one blonde lady named Emma, but Claudia really doubts there are that many ten-year-olds named Henry from that approximate time bracket. About as many people her age who share her name, probably.)
"She mentioned you think the place is cursed, and I gotta say, color me intrigued."
