Test Drive Meme!
HOW TO PLAY:
* Tag into this post with a pup you're thinking of apping to the bar with a brief EP set within Milliways and/or its universe. You can be new to the game, or simply want to test out a fresh pup.
* If you already play at Milliways, feel free to tag in with your own characters and interact with the new pups. You can also post your own EPs for these new characters to thread with.
* Mingle, post, and have fun!

Multipup Test
Pinkie Pie is in the kitchen, and there's a pink pony peeking out talking to her customer. "Did you want cupcakes or cookies?" *
Pam Poovey has stumbled on food heaven and isn't gonna stop eating until they roll her out of here on a stretcher. She might share her bearclaw with you if you're not an ass. Maybe.
Dorothy Zbornak has coffee, the morning paper and hot toast. Rose was singing showtunes on her side of the door. Pity her.
And Bender is...Bender. Which means he's trying to rig the Karaoke machine to spit out money instead of tunes.
(*Anyone who makes a "Cupcakes" joke will be poked with a stick)

Just for good measure, since this bar in the middle of his house hasn't gone away, he blinks some more.
Nope.
"Well, hell." Clearly we've moved to the 'hallucination' part of tonight's entertainment.

Oh. That's right. Every year, on television, during the Reapings. District 12's only living Victor (well, before Katniss and Peeta came along, anyway). The man that Seeder said was Chaff's friend.

Especially given the bottle and the way he's looking around at it.
His voice was civil, but surprised, and loud enough to carry. "Haymitch. Over here."

This is not helping the hallucination. A motley dressed man with glowing amber eyes with a bucket of rubber goldfish, devil duckies and squid.

Besides, if Mary - Snow - is going to survive on her own, she'll need to know a thing or several more than she does right now about how to live off the land. The next people she tries to steal eggs from may not be so forgiving, after all.
Red is expecting to follow a set of rabbit tracks around a tree; she's not expecting the woods to change as she does so, but she smells it before she realises the tracks - and the light dusting of snow they were in - have completely disappeared.
"What in the names of the gods...?"

Tonight's a new moon, so her chances of being nabbed for excursions after curfew by an overzealous Peacekeeper are slim to nonexistent. She slowly, quietly makes her way through the forestry apprentices' dormitory, headed for the exit door.
--and opens it to bright lights and a crowd of unfamiliar faces.
"Aw, hell," Johanna Mason mutters, and puts her hands into the air.
no subject
"Pow," she says.
You know, friendly-like.

And then he's laughing his head off. Oh, this time his brain has it out for him. It must be the anniversary of something or other, and he's just forgotten.

After a startled look around him, and then behind him to where the door is very much not the one he was expecting, Henry starts furiously flipping through the book.
Maybe this is in here, somewhere--maybe the spell is breaking?
But he doesn't remember seeing a picture like this one in his book...
no subject
Wherever it is, it appears to be raining speaker parts; that's the casing of one falling just out of range to hit the book, but Henry might catch the motion.
Either way, he'll probably notice the redhead with a bright yellow streak (this week) in her hair leaning out of the rafters and saying, "Hey, uh - any chance you can toss that back up here?"

You see, this is exactly the sort of thing Regina has been afraid of. She doesn't even want to think about how much a place like this could undermine his already fragile faith in her.
She glances at the book. "How on earth did you get here?"

His eyes shift from left to right. He knows that this is not Kilian Qatar's chambers. Indeed, he is no longer in Temple Prime at all. If there were a bar in Nod's central headquarters, he would know. No, clearly he has been brought here by some transdimensional portal. He is certain of it.
Most would be slow to believe such a thing. But Kane does not need to be convinced that there exist beings with powers beyond human comprehension. He already knows.
His eyes do not widen. He says nothing. Instead, he makes his way to a stool and sits down with his back to the bar, arms crossed. If some greater force has summoned him here, It will make Itself known to him shortly.
He sits there for a moment. Finally, his mouth turns upward to form the semblance of a smirk.
"Impressive decor. You'd think the service would be better here."

Miles expected his bedroom at school, when he opened the door. The biggest surprise might have been Ganke tidying his side of the room. But this?
This is not an appropriate teenage boarding school bedroom.
In his alarm, his panic response, Miles' camouflage ability kicks in -- he starts to fade into the background. But this time, he catches himself and, with some concentration, he stops. He's normal again. Totally human. Totally not a mutant, not even a little bit.
--oh, crap, he's still in a bar. Why is he in a bar?
no subject
"Nice vanishing act," he says. "Mind telling me your secret?"

He's half expecting this to be a Capitol trick and for peacekeepers to be on him in no time.

Considering the quality of the liquor he has, this is actually a fairly viable theory, except in the way that it's wrong.
