What would your canon be like if part/some/all was written by someone else?
For example: If Joss Whedon wrote an episode of Warehouse 13, he would likely kill off Helena. Strong lady character, fan favourite, obviously she's toast.
If you don't know, post your canons, and people can give you ideas!

A proper response might come later, but for now, I need to sleep.

James T. Kirk, original Trek canon
The Question, 1986-2011 DC Comics
Cyborg, first Teen Titans cartoon
Howard Stark, Marvel Cinematic Universe
Gibbs, PotC films
And it amazes me that I have only two pups that don't already appear in other continuities, and only one whose canon has not be restarted, retconned, rebooted or otherwise remade.

Warehouse 13 for Joshua and Helena
Ender's Game for Valentine
and I'm sure others will cover Les Mis better than I, although...
If Bob Fosse choreographed Les Miserables, you'd have Revolutionaries with jazz hands.

Golden Sun (for Felix)
My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic (for Fluttershy)
Final Fantasy IV (for Kain)

Life on Mars (U.K. TV series)
Game of Thrones/A Song of Ice and Fire
Life (U.S. TV series)
Firefly
Pacific Rim
Teen Wolf (the MTV show, not the movie staring Michael J. Fox)
Sherlock Holmes (RDJ, Guy Ritchie-directed version)
Castle
Iron Man
X-Men: First Class

However, if it was a thing, Castle would probably get shot every fifth episode or so, and he'd never get together with Beckett, and eventually we'd find out that his father is actually some huge serial killer who has it out for Alexis.

Pandimensional meetings I didn't know I needed!

No seriously they are great. When I bring grown-up Mako in they'll have to meet again.

Teen Wolf as done by Bryan Fuller would have more body horror, Stiles would be even more of a main character since his character is the kind Bryan Fuller loves. Also it would be a much brighter show.

There are more directed energy weapons and instead of focusing on any of the pilots, it follows the scientists. (Occasional scenes of both the pilots and the support crews are encouraged though.) Lots of the rest look the same though. (I think? My schedule has not allowed me to go to the movies recently. And this week is the local anime convention. So.)

The Watch Series, Anton Gorodetsky
The Kate Daniels series, Andrea Nash
Heroes of Olympus/Percy Jackson, Thalia Grace
And for Hank I'll just watch

For Quinlan Vos we get a smuggler centric film written and directed by Quentin Tarantino which turns out to be the only film in the Star Wars franchise to be rated R.
Jessica Drew gets a screenplay written by either Marjorie Liu or Greg Rucha and it is a very noir private eye type of film. The director is Guillermo del Toro.
The Fantastic Four gets to be directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet but I am not sure who writes the screenplay, maybe J. Michael Straczynski. It is heavy on the sci fi and humans standing up to the more technologically advance galaxy.
Bonus answer: The Doctor Strange movie is also written by JMS who had this neat idea that Strange fights the dark forces no other hero can even conceive off. He is the hero facing off against the Lovecraftian horrors which would drive those unprepared insane. Director is Terry Gilliam.

Runescape as run by Blizzard: Less thought and effort spent on eliminating the grindy aspects of the game, less hand wringing about consistent lore, the gameworld would be more realistically scaled instead of being representational so that the mountains would actually be tall mountains, the oceans wouldn't just be wide rivers (I CAN SEE RUSSIA FROM MY BACKYARD!) and the Kharidian desert and many other features would be HUGE. But the more realistic scale would make mounts a sensible thing. Also, no way in hell are you getting weekly updates, are you completely mad?
More egregious examples of boobplate and magical 'armor' for female characters.
Runescape run by a Korean company: Everything is free to play, everything good is pay to win. No updates ever.
Boobplate and magical armor? Even cheesier! Cheesecake everywhere.
Runescape run by Valve: Runescape 3 is not a thing. Even more buyable cosmetic items than Jagex is cranking into the game presently. But hey, at least boobplate and magical armor aren't a thing except when comedy calls for it.

Other people have already asked for Pacific Rim and Half-Life, and frankly I don't think luchador movies need to be produced some other way. They wouldn't be lucha movies then.
