What would your canon be like if part/some/all was written by someone else?

For example: If Joss Whedon wrote an episode of Warehouse 13, he would likely kill off Helena. Strong lady character, fan favourite, obviously she's toast.

If Hawaii Five-0 were written by David Simon and Ed Burns, Steve's constant disdain of politically tolerable police procedure would lead to the disbandment of the Five-0 task force. Each of the Five-0 task force members would go their separate ways and quickly become lost in the bureaucracy. Some would quit, frustrated by their inability to affect any change in a system that does not care for their personal welfare, and others would doggedly continue on, only to retire after decades of work as apathetic, soulless shells of the eager recruits they once were, their only success lying in escaping from the roles forced upon them by those above them. The Five-0 task force would quickly become yet another mistake swept under the rug, and the status quo would be maintained for years to come.

If Hunger Games were written by JK Rowling, the end of Mockingjay would be Katniss and Peeta cheerfully living their life, not affected by anything that happened. It would all be over! (Full disclosure, I prefer the ending of Mockingjay to the ending of Potter by a long shot. Actually when I read Mockingjay, my first reaction was "WHY DIDN'T POTTER END THIS WAY?!")
