I saw Frozen on Friday night. It was excellent, but I find myself hoping that the inevitable bonus animated short on the DVD will be a PSA on how to deal with hypothermia. (It was also very nice to hear the songwriters' daughters both get singing roles, I haven't seen them since my brother's wedding in 2010, Annie was just a baby then and now she gets to voice a troll, how time flies.)
It's Hannibal Lecter. While the label on the tin is a little vague, if you check the ingredients, they say: "Contents: One Unmitigated Fucker. Warning: May contain fava beans."
I spent the week in a staycation and loved it! Didn't do much housework or other responsible things but I feel recharged.
Saw Thor 2 with Her Ladyship and Loki's army has grown by one Middle Schooler. She wants to see Mr. Hiddleston play a nice guy now.
I played a bit with a newish head voice earlier this week (on the fence with the PB though) but not much else.
ETA: I forgot I also discovered an action figure for Andrea Nash, well a substitute anyway. Thus my plan of having figures for all my pups is getting closer to fruition!
As for the books, I think they are fabulously entertaining. Great one liners ("It’s never a good thing when the black volhv says, ‘Oh Uh’, and then runs for his life."), complex characters and lots of action. I would warn that the series is bloody and the romance can be triggery as it does involve a lot of powerplay (most if not all the romance occurs with at least one member being a shapeshifter) but beneath the games, you can tell the people truly care and respect each other...well, eventually.
He iiiiiiiis dreamy. Almost as much as Willy Cartier, but that's a whole 'nother subject. >.> I think personally that with that face there's definite possibility for saying the character is of Andalusian Romani (forgive me if I get the plurals wrong, declensions are not my strong suit) descent and Slavic as nationality?
Heh. I read the Anita Blake books, I can handle power play in romance. It sounds fun, though, and I will definitely check them out! I think my library has them, but if not I can always reserve them on the inter-library thing.
Definitely something to think about. I know from canon his mother speaks Russian and her name is very Russian, as is his father's (Edvokia and Grigorii respectively). I can see them being from Ukraine which could support the Andalusian Romani ancestry and not much is given out in canon so I have wiggle room. = ]
Plus, if I do use him, I can sneak ballet in as a hobby of his, if not flamenco, as well.
Well, I'm not 100% sure I'll be apping him but he doesn't have a canon romance yet. ; p
And sort of connected, when Thalia returns for some air time, I feel like she and Ganymede should thread again, or meet if my brain is misremembering a brief thread at the archery range.
I uh... caught up with my inbox? Ugh, that's about the best I can say. October and November kicked my butt with medical problems and depression... so far December isn't looking to be any better but one can hope!
I'm still busy with my Flight Rising obsession [another month, another festival - FR loves to party :P], and I've managed to catch the first three episodes of MLP:FIM season four, so hopefully soon there will be a Scootaloo EP posted.
Certainly mean to put something up in MM one of these days.... >>
I had a lovely Thanksgiving and have started to make some job plans. Next week I'm showing my resume to someone, visiting a school library and attending a volunteer party at the library where I volunteer. Since this month has sucked for actually applying for jobs, this feels like progress.
In terms of RP, I did a lot of tagging out and not many EPs.
William was confused by Claudia and the idea of Civil War reenactors.
Demeter and Natasha are discussing fashion and the seasons.
Tumnus met Legolas for much sweetness and he also met David Wollcott for great confusion. I've missed playing him.
Elsegame, my new headvoice is still being loud and my current favorite thread with him is with Regina Mills. All his EPs are hugely open as I still haven't decided if he'll be a December or January app.
I got told that I'm the best Clerk in the building, which means.... more work in a new committee! Whoo? Maybe? I think it's a good thing, though.
The power port died on my actual laptop, so I ended up having to get a cheap temp one and the keyboard is terrible, so if I'm even slower than usual, that's why.

Fair warning, book 3 doesn't come out until April and things are left hanging as much as the end of book 1.

I had a feeling that was coming.

...I should read these books, apparently they happen in Atlanta and I live like, an hour and a half from there. I know it so well.

This is, in fact, an accomplishment.
But today is a NEW WEEK, full of a job application and ERRANDS.
