A Brief Intro: Got into the game through my wife Batya in Sept 2004. Still here all this time later. I don't play as much as I used to but I remain a stalwart of the Bar, forever looking for that next great thread or that next great pup to play.

What TIme Zone/When do you most often play? Eastern time zone - play most in the evenings, and occasionally really early in the day if anyone else is around.

Pups/Characters You Play: Howard Stark (MCU), though I might put him on hold as we get closer to new canon; Cyborg (first Teen Titans cartoon); James T. Kirk (original series canon); The Question (Vic Sage, pre-New 52 DC Comics); Joshamee Gibbs (PotC); and Alex Knox (1989 Batman film). Plus a handful more in sandboxes.

What type of threads are you looking for? Open to anything that expands my pups' worlds. Everyone always needs new friends. In the case of The Question, he's bound and could use some excitement.

What sort of threads are you comfortable playing? PG-rated, for sure, with fading to black. Not a lot of violence - I can write it but I don't like it much.

A Brief Intro: *resists temptation to do dramatic movie-trailer intro* I'm Saph. I'm an archivist and librarian, and pretty thoroughly a geek. I've been playing in Milliways since a couple of weeks after it started, July 2004, and I can't see myself ever stopping. ^_^

What Time Zone/When do you most often play? I'm in Central Daylight Time, US, and I'm usually around on-and-off during my afternoons, and more reliably in my evenings until midnight or so.

A Brief Intro: I'm Don and I'm one of those older people you hear about on the internet (I saw SW: A New Hope in a drive-in theater when it was first released). By day I'm a production artist and by night a father. I've been doing this for sometime now and loving it even when I'm not able to play. I am a total geek who loves comics, books, movies, TV shows, webshows, podcasts, whatever. I cut my teeth on table top games (D&D, Shadowrun, and White Wolf's WOD), did some play-by-email games, and then found this game.

What Time Zone/When do you most often play? US Pacific, which I think is GMT+8? I usually try my best to play between projects at work as my home life is somewhat chaotic. Of course so is work but work is quieter about it, so I can focus easier. That all said, I tend to live in slowtimes and drops threads by accident. Please don't take it personally.

What type of threads are you looking for? Pretty much anything as long as it's fun and expands my pups narrative.

What sort of threads are you comfortable playing? Open for most anything but romance gets the PG rated fade to black, as extreme violence.

A Brief Intro: I'm one of the mods. I work in IT. I'm one of the older players in RL, as far as I can tell. I seem to have acquired a reputation for being the person to go to if an apocalyptic event occurs in RL, although I don't know how relevant that necessarily is here (still, if you need someone to teach you how to make cheese or soap or something similar from scratch, that'd be me). I have a fondness for SF canons, both good ones and pure cheese, and for video game canons.

What Time Zone/When do you most often play? American Eastern Time. Right now I'm usually on during the work day- I have a house guest, so being on at night is a little spotty, but come June I'll be available most evenings as well.

Pups/Characters You Play: Gordon Freeman, of Half-Life fame. Adrian Shephard, a Marine from Half-Life: Opposing Force. Ellen Park, the Lone Wanderer and main character of Fallout 3. BLU Medic, from Team Fortress 2, although I last played canon before Valve put hats in the game so I honestly have no clue about most of the canon developments to date. Varric Tethras from Dragon Age 2. Stacker Pentecost, from Pacific Rim. Edward Kenway, from Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. And El Santo, the greatest freaking luchador of all time, as depicted in his many movies.

What type of threads are you looking for? I am very happy with random threads with players and characters I don't know. I am also firmly of the belief that Milliways exists to allow stuff to happen that would be impossible purely within a character's canon, so relationships across worlds are fine so long as they develop organically. I'm fond of seeing things go AU so long as the process is logical and provides a more satisfying version of things than the original. I also like having characters from other canons visit my pups' worlds, both the good ones and the bad, and having mine get introduced to other pups' worlds in return.

What sort of threads are you comfortable playing? Nearly anything. I dislike dealing with multiple pups from a single person who all interact with each other behind the scenes, though- I got my roleplaying start in MUSHes and MUDs and it was considered very bad form to have more than one character per player in the same faction. Other than that, and possibly plots that involve 'it has to have X outcome, so your pup can't realize Y until Z point in the plot because they'd screw it up if they did', I'm open to just about anything up to American movie ratings of PG-13 (in the main bar) or R (in linked threads on a private journal).

What type of threads are you looking for? Pretty much anything. Bossuet's new here so he's still kind of in "gosh wow what a crazy place" mode, but he'll get over it. I'm happy with general chatty threads or more serious plotty or one-on-one threads.

What sort of threads are you comfortable playing? I guess if we're talking comfort zone playing, I'm a fade-to-black kind of person, but as far as subject matter I'm flexible. Bossuet probably isn't a character I'll take into anything totally off-the-wall cracky for now.

A Brief Intro: Hi! I'm a book conservator living in the DC metro area; when I'm not doing that, I play roller derby and spend way too much time on the internet. Saying I'm a geek is kind of a given considering the audience, right? But: love SF&F/genre media, love going to conventions (and cosplaying while I'm there!), will happily chatter for hours about whatever show/book/movie/whatever has caught my attention lately, I LOVE EVERYONE IN THIS BAR, etc. And speaking of this bar, I've been kicking around here since December 2004, which is almost a full third of my life. Holy shit.

What TIme Zone/When do you most often play? I'm on US Eastern, which I think is GMT -5? (It might be -4 right now thanks to Daylight Savings.) My schedule's a little erratic, but when I do get some time to RP, I'm typically around between 10:30 and 11:30 PM. Sometimes I'll log on a bit earlier or be able to stick around a little later, but 10:30-11:30 is my core hour.

Because of my schedule, slowtime and I are BFFs. I know that's not the case with some folks, so if at any point you'd prefer to let a thread fade out rather than continue it for a week or two, I am completely fine with that. Just let me know. <3

What type of threads are you looking for? Pretty much anything! If it's a chatty thread, I really like ones that advance a relationship or forge new connections in some way; I also adore plotty stuff. My main strategy is "throw pups at each other like flinging spaghetti at a wall and see what sticks" -- sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't, but I am always delighted to find out.

What sort of threads are you comfortable playing? Again, pretty much anything! I FTB on NSFW things as a matter of course, since (much like IRL) I prefer to keep that stuff private; I also prefer some warnings if in-depth discussion of suicide might come up. The only thing I flat-out refuse to play is dubcon/noncon.

A Brief Intro: Like I said, I'm Lynne, I'm a research polymer chemist with a giant cat who flees strangers, a love for books, and a lot of spare quiet time. I like comics, sci-fi/fantasy, and D&D. I started playing here in summer of 2005 and haven't looked back since. Some people tell me I am proof positive that it is always the quiet ones.

I am good with pretty much anything, though I prefer oblique/FTB for sex-related topics as well as more graphic torture stuff that might come from flashbacks or time spent in places such as Hell. (Hi Dean, yes, he is why I learned that about myself.) I do feel pretty free to sing out if a thread takes a turn for the uncomfortable for me, and I am really glad when any threading partners do the same. I do not care how major or minor it is, if both people in a thread are not having fun, it is time to turn things around.

A Brief Intro: I believe I may be as old as bjornwilde, or pretty close to it (I didn't watch Episode 4 at a drive-in, but I did watch it on original release). I cut my teeth on tabletops, starting with the old blue box of D&D and still going strong today. I even worked on one for a time (Earthdawn, Second Edition). I started reading Milliways after finding camwyn's fanfiction through a mutual friend, but it was some time before I had the time or impetus to apply for a character.

I have a couple of projects taking my free time right now that are keeping me from paying as much attention at night as I could, but that won't last past July.

A Brief Intro: I have literally been here since day one - as in, I remember the founder's drunk post about the GREAT IDEA FOR AN RP!!!! she had and her sober post the next morning that she was going to keep going with it. It seemed like a fun way to pass the summer before I started college. Never thought we'd still be here ten years later, or that I'd end up engaged out of the deal.

What Time Zone/When do you most often play? Eastern US. I'm the night owl of the house, so while Quinn manages some early morning I'll typically stay up until 2 or 3 AM. There are common points in the evening/on weekends that we're both gone. (Also, Woolly will not let me tag with him Friday evening to Saturday evening, with very rare exceptions; if we have an ongoing thread with him when the weekend hits, odds are it'll be on slowtime for the day. XD)

What sort of threads are you comfortable playing? I tend toward fade-to-black on sexytimes and I'm not very good at action scenes. Violence definitely has to be the right circumstance for me to roll with it. Otherwise, as I said above, I'll try most anything once.

Since my job requires me to be on my feet, I can't go to work, giving me some flex time for the moment. I'll generally want FTB on sexually explicit just because it's not interesting to me, but other than that, I'm probably good. I'll also let threading partners know if I'm having an issue/uncomfortable with something, and will sometimes check if I'm worried the other person may have a problem or anything, so! What type of threads are you looking for? Anything! Short and snappy, long and involved - I tend to gravitate more naturally towards the fun stuff, and I love ridiculous threads (i.e. anything which makes one or more player go "oh, Milliways!"), but I can do serious, too.

What sort of threads are you comfortable playing? I'm easy, darlings! I'll play pretty much anything at any rating, but I do have pretty major eyesquick so I tend to steer clear of anything that'll hit off that. Not a fan of dubcon (or worse), either. If a thread's not going a way you're comfortable with, though, please let me know - it will never be a problem.

What type of threads are you looking for? This is an odd question but I guess I'd say the character connecting ones to begin with. I find when pups click that plot tends to follow along after it. I'd love more people to meet Ivan as I'm starting to move him through his latest canon. Otherwise I'm very open, talk to me and let's see what ideas happen or tag me and see what happen.

What sort of threads are you comfortable playing?
I play in Milliways because I adore the mix of characters and worlds. Pretty much I'm willing to play everything from rather sexy stuff as recently happened with the Emcee and Moist to discussions of morality and worlds plus silly. A lot of it comes down to what fits the characters. If you have an idea, I'd love to talk and also see what happens. Sometimes threads are short because characters don't click and other times, they turn into adventures. I like seeing what happens and talking through what is happening.

I'm not one for smut threads (and very few of my current roster are up for that anyway) and I'm not one for graphic torture, but other than that I'm up for just about anything. Conversation, action, argument, whatever! And I'm always up for OOC communication, before or during or after. Specific thoughts of the moment: I'd still like to find Enjolras a job, although he's just gotten something to occupy his mind more for the moment, and he's always up for talking politics with anyone. Thor is on Security, and in general is always up to break up a fight or stop a rampage in-bar or to help out with a friend's fight outside Milliways if he feels it's a good fit for him. Cosette could use some friends, although I figure that'll come organically as she gets played more.

What sort of threads are you comfortable playing? See above about smut and torture. Other than that, just about anything -- I'm fine with characters disliking each other or having conflict, too, as long as we're checking in OOCly enough that I know the mun's having fun. I'm not that great with slowtimes that last more than a couple of days, unless we've prearranged that something will run slow and long; I'm much better at doing a focused few evenings of back-and-forth than I am at putting in a tag or two every day for weeks. But I'm always up for tossing characters together to see how they click, and repeating the experiment as many times as seems fun to see what grows out of it!

A Brief Intro: Been here almost every night since March 2005. In real life I'm a doctor, nerd, and cat-lover.
In the game, aside from being a general regular, I tend to specialise in helping people with their medic-threads, either with Guppy, or helping people make things realistic (with the disclaimer that it usually ends up simplified for fiction!). If you want anything complicated it's best to check in with me in advance so I can look stuff up for you, but I try to be spontaneous as needed.
Oh, and along with Elthon and Arrin, I help run Life Support, an IC support group, which runs about once a month when we remember.

What type of threads are you looking for? I have a strong play with everyone policy and unless specified on my EP my posts are open to anyone. I am very difficult to annoy and will communicate with you if there is a problem. Obviously I like picking up medical threads, but if you have other pups in mind am happy to give advice, or if you're in a different time zone, try and point you towards someone else who can help.

What sort of threads are you comfortable playing? I am okay with medical detail, obviously, and moderate violence if not too graphically described. If it's above 12A material discuss with me first.
I don't want to thread or read sexual violence, non-/dubious consensual sex, or severe violence/torture. I may be able to help fix your pup after but don't expect me to read your oom. Warnings are love.
