Monday DE: Still life with a....

Back in art school, in a basic skills class, I remember an assignment that was to create a still life that was also a self portrait, using objects that you felt represented you. If your character were to do a similar project, what objects would they chose?

Bonus points for any meta on the meaning of those objects.

Emcee: an old-fashioned microphone (his purpose, his need); a tumbler of gin and a lit cigarette in an ashtray (his vices); a tube of red lipstick and a black bow tie (his aesthetic/mask); all in the glow of a stage spotlight (the attention he craves).

Pam: a pair of pink stiletto heels (girlie, but can kill you).

Floki: a Viking ship (his livelihood, his passion) with an eye painted on the sail (his connection to the gods), wreathed with wildflowers (Helga and his love for her).

Cassidy: a bottle of whiskey, a blood bag, and a pair of sunglasses. He wouldn't have any explanation, the objects have no real meaning, it's just shit he needs, but the way they're artfully arranged looks cool.
