Bad news, folks: it's Monday again. I have a stinking cold and too much to do, so my mood is as delightfully high as ever...

I also have absolutely nothing for today's DE, so let's have a Suggestion Box rummage...

False! He is firmly neutral on them, neither liking nor disliking them (at least compared to other desserts -- he does have something of a sweet tooth).

Yamato's not really a hugger but he is physically affectionate.

Semi-true. He's not against hugs, he actually really likes them and finds them quite comforting, but he's also, like. A touch-starved victim of parental neglect who feels awkward asking for hugs, let alone initiating one without asking.

He is very physically affectionate, though, just usually with nudges, knuckle-taps, or hair-ruffling.

Cassian tends to tap his fingers nervously unless he's on a mission.

Quentin likes music besides folk. He chooses to listen to it only around Toby in an attempt to calm her down.

True, when Quentin was attending school, he was a very good student and now with his lessons, he still is.

False, Cassian enjoys sweets when he can have the but doesn't very often so they're a huge treat.

Cassian felt awkward with Emcee openly flirting with him in the beginning of their acquaintanceship.

And Quentin would feel less awkward with Emcee's flirting if Emcee were younger.

True for both. Cassian's not used to flirting, it does happen around him but his focus is so much on the Rebellion, he doesn't have a lot of space left for himself. That's why Emcee is so good for him by reminding him that he's someone worth being with. He still has points of feeling awkward because a part of him still doesn't really believe that Emcee can like him as much as he does.

Quentin likes Emcee and age is weird for him since most Fae look the same no matter their age, but he's aware of mortal ages.

Emcee has (or would have) a quiet appreciation for 80s disco aesthetic.

Cassidy doesn't actually much enjoy the taste or texture of blood.

Emcee: True! He enjoys '80s pop and dance music already, though if we're talking about stuff he'd actually wear i think his own preferences style-wise lean more toward the Cure than Culture Club (though he does like Boy George's makeup).

Cassidy: True! He's even developed a formula for getting rid of the taste of blood (Tabasco sauce followed by Yoo-Hoo, it's canon), but he's used to it by now. His repressed bloodlust has nothing to do with his liking the taste, but his instinctual hunger for it.

Pam: Kinda?? She fucking despises her, haha! She has hated her since the beginning of the series and will hate her through to the end. She only holds her tongue around Eric because she knows he'll get angry. In the upcoming segment of canon that we have yet to cover, it will alnost break them apart.

Emcee feels most like himself and safest when he's on stage.

Cassidy doesn't always remember the names of the drugs he's taken but he always recalls how they taste.

Emcee: Very true! Like, that statement doesn't even have to be explained, it's just the honest truth about him.

Cassidy: I had to think about this for a moment and decided that it's mostly false. Drugs are his skill set. He can whip up anything using whatever is available or lying around, from over the counter stuff to household cleaners, and he'll remember the combinations. He has a selective long-term memory that kicks in from time to time, so he can sometimes remember what he took, how it made him feel/what he hallucinated, and the general situation surrounding it. However, he can still forget if he was actually on drugs or not (the answer is always yes, he was).

I want to say true, but with a caveat. He has a simple palate and some foods get too complex. He especially loves all the variety of sweet things.

Kylo would have much preferred to have received training in the Force from Leia (as opposed to Luke, and definitely as opposed to Snoke).

This is a tricky one. While they never met onscreen, they definitely know each other. And I honestly think that due to them having so much in common, they probably get along like gangbusters. It's Mera Tess isn't sure of.

I don't think Leia was thought to have a strong enough connection to the Force to be able to do so. It apparently didn't seem to be an option at the time. But I would say yes, he likely would have preferred her over Luke and absolutely over Snoke.

Once because he was honesty curious, once because he was high enough to think he was a cat, and... well. That happened.

Allison is Klaus' favourite living sibling.

Allison is a grade-A ass. She is always looking out for #1 (and we don't mean Luther, though she wants some of that too). Sure, when they were kids, Allison was the one that let him steal her makeup and clothes and there may have been a few fashion shows, and yes, that was great. However, she was one of the 'good' kids - she didn't often get on Daddy Hargreeve's bad side, and never found out the reality of Klaus' powers. Then she up and bolted to the other side of the country, practically disowned all knowledge of anything to do with Umbrella Academy, and basically dropped out of Klaus' life. He now sees her on the screen, and... nowhere else. He knows there's a husband, and a kid, but he's pretty sure Allison will never let him within a 100 miles of either. Which... kinda fair, mostly sad.

Diego is his favorite living sibling. At least Diego still answers the phone, even if it is just to tell him off.

None of his siblings know what his powers really entail, so there's a lot of unintentional casual cruelty there, which Klaus mostly forgives them for but is sometimes deeply salty about.

Klaus has at some point worn clothing from all of his sibling's closets, but has the most fun in Alison's.

Truth, though not all for similar reasons.

He stole a spare domino mask out of Five's closet once because he totally misplaced his and the mission alarm was going off and honestly he was already in enough trouble that week.

He stole a tie out of Ben's for much the same reason.

From Vanya, he took a pair of very very fluffy socks, because he was goddamn cold (it wasn't just the ghosts that followed him from the mausoleum), and they were the fluffiest damn socks in the whole house.

From Diego, he raided as many gloves as he could find, the night he left the mansion. He knew he wasn't coming back, not willingly, and Diego wouldn't mind - he'd left a while before.

From Luther, he took a sweater that was too large but amazingly warm, on the same night. Luther probably missed it. Tough nuts.

Allison's closet is the only one he's gone to for fashion, and man does it never disappoint. Also? All the sparkly nail polish.

Sariel always knew she wanted to join Starfleet, but didn't know what department she wanted to be in until later.

False, mostly. The idea wasn't entirely off her radar when she was little, but neither was it really a consideration. Then, as a tween, she discovered flying, and that was it for her, all in one.

Sariel's favorite times to fly are when the bridge is quiet and she can focus on the stars instead of the other officers.

Yrael does not regret his choice during the final battle with his wayward brother (who shall not be named, ta). He might miss his brother, but that does not equate to regretting saving the known world.

Sunshine actively encourages the suspicion that she has a magical line in worked metals.*

*Are there people with a magical line in worked metals in Sunshine's universe, or is it almost entirely western elemental?

Yrael: Absolutely correct! In no way, shape, or form does he regret his decision. The world is far more interesting with Life in it.

Sunshine: While there are people in her world with magical affinity for metal - I believe it is mentioned briefly in canon during the explanation on how elemental affinities and counter affinities work - I don't think Sunshine encourages any suspicions either way. She feels she attracts too many suspicions without her trying to encourage then. Maybe she'd be in a better situation if she thought that far ahead.

Sunshine is incredibly good at teasing out the tastes in baked good and food and reverse engineering what's there.

Tavi sometimes pulls a 'dress as a commoner and walk the streets of the city to see how the people are doing' trick. It is not the easiest disguise to pull off.
