Monday DE: Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
God, I'm so damn tired. I might be a heavy sleeper, but the sound of not one but two hedgestrimmers more than two hours before my alarm is pushing it even for me...
So.
Is your pup a light sleeper, or can they sleep anywhere and through anything? Does it have to be pitch black for them to doze off, or does it make no difference? Do they have any other requirements/preferences for sleeping?

Abe no Seimei is proficient in mind magic and meditative techniques, so while he is a light sleeper and may not sleep for a long time, he is usually well-rested. As in many other areas of life, he cheats with magic!
Murderbot does not sleep. It’ll make sure you do though, if it’s responsible for you in some way. (Taps sign that reads “Humans need rest periods.”)

Bastion dislikes going into sleep mode, which for an omnic is a way of limiting power consumption while their battery charges from their fuel supply or a wall outlet. Omnics don't dream, so it's not because of that; they just don't like being mostly unaware of what's happening around them. When they do end up in sleep mode (most likely from overextending themself) they're a very heavy sleeper who can only be roused by a full charge, a scheduled alarm, or some intensely startling stimulus like a fall or a loud noise.
Thurlow struggles with nightmares and sometimes also insomnia; some of it's trauma, some of it's that they're constantly stressed from overworking themself, and some of it is that living in the Neath gives you weird, unsettling recurring dreams even under the best circumstances. Falling asleep in the first place is usually not the most difficult part compared to staying asleep for a reasonable portion of the night. Lack of darkness isn't usually a problem, though, since the only difference between night and day in Fallen London is the level of artificial lighting and the number of people on the streets.
Aradia used to live on the outskirts of town and isn't really used to sleeping with a lot of other people close by, just her lusus, so she's one of the lighter sleepers. She doesn't need it to be very dark, because trolls are nocturnal and evolved to sleep in shady spots during the day so that they could avoid the harsh, intense light of Alternia's sun.
Cirava is from the same nocturnal species, but prone to staying up all day for no reason from time to time, and has a higher tolerance for noise. They like to sleep with music playing in the background.

Vision doesn't need to sleep.
Sherlock used to sleep only when he had to; since his two years of being "dead," he learned to sleep whenever and wherever he could. He sleeps pretty soundly now that he's got Jim with him.

He will happily sleep in until noon. He will also happily stay up until daybreak working on projects. He will also happily zonk out during meditation. He also gets super shitty nightmares and soooometimes forgets that sleep is a thing he should be doing. So. It's a lot. He doesn't actually have any requirements for sleep beyond 'not moving', so...
Cecil is rapidly finding his requirement for sleep is a Carlos in his bed. >.> He also sleeps hard, sometimes not even waking up when the sunrise comes crashing over the horizon.
Jon sleeps light, always has. He even has those noise-cancelling headphones because apartment living can be hell, but sometimes being alone with your thoughts isn't great either.
Klaus sleeps light, but that's more trauma-induced than natural inclination. Nothing like frequent 'emergency' drills and actualfax superhero emergencies waking you up at the asscrack of dawn to teach you to be upright and moving at the shortest notice. Drugs help with that, he's found. Well, some do. At some doses.

When he does have it on, he still doesn't sleep much, and both years of raising small children and terrible trauma-based nightmares lead to him being a VERY light sleeper.
Urania doesn't need to sleep, being a goddess.
Phoenix will sleep all day if you let him, and disbarment-based depression doesn't help that, but he sleeps a bit lighter now that he has a child in the house.
Snufkin can sleep anywhere, due to a life on the road, and will happily nap by a river as he's fishing. He has infinite chill.
Lup gets a pretty regular amount of sleep - preferably clinging to someone - and sleeps like the dead, usually snoring a bit.

Barry - Barry doesn't have trouble falling asleep, and while he prefers a bed he can sleep wherever. Aside from the occasional nightmare (thanks, Man in Yellow) he tends to sleep pretty soundly, too. A little too soundly, as he does have a penchant for sleeping through his alarm and waking up late. When it's a Flash situation, though, he's up and running quick.
Matt - In yet another way that Matt fails to take care of himself, his sleep habits are terrible. He basically doesn't. Between the day job and the night vigilante thing the only time he really gets to bed is when he's too beat up to do either one of those two activities. Thanks to his enhanced senses he's also a light sleeper, and it's hard to get there even when he's not self-punishing himself because it's not easy to fall asleep when you can hear every single creak of the bed springs and the linens feel like sandpaper on his skin.
Logan - Logan doesn't need a whole lot of sleep, so when he's on mission he won't, but otherwise he can crash wherever. In a sleazy hotel, on the floor in the forest, in the bed of a pickup truck or strapped in a seat in a jet, he'll snooze wherever. He stays very aware of his surroundings, so he's a light sleeper, and although things are much better these days he'll still get the rude awakening caused by nightmares.
Bill - Bill is sleeping much better these days, no longer drowning himself to get there and resting easier when he is asleep. He's pretty middle of the lane as far as how heavy or light he sleeps. Loud noises or phone calls will wake him, but he's not going to stir for the smaller things. In the morning the alarm clock will get him up.

Marian actually sleeps quite well now. She had problems back in the past, especially when she had to play court for The Sherrif during the day, while being The Nightwatchman at night, pretending there was much a chance for sleep at all between each other; and then again after the event in Milliways that involved her not-death, losing Sherwood, being run through entirely with a sword. But these days, she’s happy, her life is peaceful, Amy’s land is never a terror, and she has Caspian, Amy, and Amy’s children adding light to her every day.
Sara on OTO has the worst relationship with sleep around in my head of probably all characters ever written. Between the memories of all her deaths, all those she’s killed (past-through-present), and the blood lust from the Lazarus Pit always burning through her, sleep is not a kindness. She often wakes gasping from nightmares from the above when she’s not awakened by the smallest noises due to her training from the League of Assassins.
Jo is a dichotomy of answers. Her in-bar version sleeps pretty okay between hotels and the bar. Her all-skate, crau 10+ year version (which I’ve been playing mostly in the bar so far since returning), can’t sleep worth much of anything. She burns the candle at both ends, going to sleep as late as possible and waking up as early as possible. The length of time within Hellverse and The Rat Trap, not to mention Zombie Roadhouse & Silent Hill, has pretty much left her mostly incapable of anything but short blips sleep.

Bucky can fall asleep easily when he tries, but he sleeps very lightly, and wakes up with nightmares almost every night. As a result, he also sleeps very little.
Moiraine sleeps easily and generally well, barring very exceptional circumstances. There are multiple reasons for that.
Kim Ford sleeps easily most of the time and can fall asleep at a moment's notice due to habits developed in medical school. She also dreams a Seer's dreams, which affects sleep quality rather significantly.

Zenigata can sleep anywhere, in any condition, and frequently does. He is frequently exhausted, so it's not hard. Sleeping at home in bed is a luxury. Most of the time he's sleeping on planes, trains, or hotel rooms.
Vex likes comfort -- lots of blankets, a sleep mask, darkness. He can do without, but that's his preference.
Zuko can also sleep anywhere; he's been an exile and a fugitive, and with his sister's cruelty he learned to sleep lightly and be able to wake quickly. So he can sleep just about anywhere, but in stressful situations it's light and not very restful.
