Thursday DE: I'll buy that for a dollar!

I've got nothing so I am hitting up the Suggestion Box.

Inspired by a crackchat conversation with [personal profile] nocarename  and [personal profile] kippurbird : What currency or currency-substitute barter arrangement does your pup use to pay their tab (or which one would they use, if they didn't avoid paying it)? Alternately, how do they raise the money to order things from Bar if it's not from their day job?

Wilson uses whatever random items he has on hand that 1) look valuable and 2) aren't essential to surviving the Constant. Right now he favours purple gems, because he can easily pull them out of dead clockwork bishops and there are more bishops than there are tasks he needs purple gems for.

Aradia has a ridiculous number of boondollars at her disposal from Sgrub.

Bastion's tab is pretty well covered by the jobs they've taken in the bar, but they do get paid in their world out of what Overwatch takes in as vigilante mercenaries, just like the other agents. Pounds or euros seem like the most likely currency for it since they're based out of Gibraltar.

Cirava pays in caegars from their modest imagostipend or their music/streaming revenue. Alternia mostly just has the one currency.

Fallen London does business in like half a dozen currencies, most of which are only found in the Neath (with the obvious exception of Surface Currency). They sometimes also barter things that aren't regularly treated as currency but are easy to obtain in large quantities, like disembodied bottled souls, or spooky candles. The Bazaar itself uses Echoes, which divide up into 100 pennies each. Thurlow pays for their drinks with whatever they have handy, whether it's echoes, rostygold, warm amber, jade, nevercold brass, or surface coinage.
