Wednesday DE: Remember me
Hello Milliways, it's Hump-DAAAAY.
I've got nothin', so I'm taking from the DE Suggestion Box.
I took a deep dive and found this one by

Since I've been thinking about history and archives a lot in my work and fic writing. How will your character be remembered in their world?
As an example, I think Cassian's someone who because of doing work that kept him very much hidden, his work was all about blending in, he's known in odd ways. The Rebellion has their own memorials and ways of honoring Rogue One but I love this thought of Poe Dameron in learning how to be a spy reading old reports of his.
So, how would Your character be remembered after they've gone?

Sameth, I think would be overshadowed by Lirael and his mother, but would be remembered in interesting sideways' ways in terms of the places he repaired. Also I think he and Nick would have stories about them at Somersby.
*eyes X-Men* Charles, people probably write papers and try and interview Charles about mutant history.
Moist would rather be forgotten but will be remembered for how he changed Ankh-Morpork.
Quentin, oh his will be complicated and fascinating the point when he goes from being Toby's squire to his own person.
Greek mythology is basically a huge game of telephone that's still going on.
Will S. is another one that's tangled in legend, which is one I reason I found playing him so fascinating. All the interpretations of Robin Hood and how they intersected with people meeting an actual person.
William, hm, I think the farther away from his life, the stories get, the less he will be recalled and the story will focus on Dan and Ben. While I think he and his brother will end up leaving other sorts of marks in Bisbee.
Ivan would prefer to be a footnote in history, the one who was also there alongside Miles, which is fairly accurate. He will also get noted along his mother, but I love the idea of some later historian poking into his role as the forgotten one of the trio of Gregor, Miles and Ivan.
Tumnus, I see as actually being a bit of a historian so he would downplay his own role while Lucy would try and make sure he was known. I think he'd end up seen as a trusted advisor.

Yamato personally is also going to be remembered for being one half of the first human-Digimon pair on Mars. No mention is made of him being the first human on Mars, so presumably there was a manned mission some time before that, but still, it's a big achievement.
In the Digital World, he'll be remembered the same way his first incarnation on that world was remembered: As the physical embodiment of death and the Moon, and as one of the saviours of the world, who will presumably return again one day.

Peter - honestly, he'll probably go out much like Harry - doing the right thing. whether he's remembered or not depends on if he ever tells people he's Spider-Man (MCU version - comics i dunno what all him do)
