Okay, so I've gotten a couple of "WTF, bar?! Sirius?!" questions from folks who weren't around last night, so I'll do a brief recap.
Bernard got hurt last Saturday. Nobody had any idea what to do, or who was responsible.
On Tuesday: the angel
has an idea. On Wednesday: Aziraphale
leaves for heaven to try and sort things out, causing Crowley to
flip. Aziraphale
finds Sirius. Then last night, Crowley and Tonks
blow up at each other, followed immediately by the return of
Sirius and Aziraphale. Sirius learns of the Bernard/bar incident, and is less than pleased. (This is an
amazing thread. Sub-threads:
Aziraphale helps Sirius remember; Crowley is displeased with Aziraphale; Sirius and Crowley have a drink; Sirius and Tonks reassure one another; and
Remus and Sirius say good-bye. For now.)
Sirius heals the bar and Bernard by breaking the magical bond between them. In the process,
all of the alcohol explodes. Finally, his job done,
Sirius goes home. So, you may ask: what does this mean for me? Well, the Servete Spell has been dissolved, so until further notice there will be no drinks, or anything for that matter, simply popping into existence on the bar's surface. Normal service will resume as soon as Tom, Tonks, and other wizard/witch types figure out how to re-bind Bernard to the bar. In the meantime, see a bartender. (Or I suppose, if you're feeling bold, raid the kitchen. But be respectful of Gil's space, please. :D)
I cannot applaud last night's players enough -- it was a pleasure to watch. Consider my socks well and truly rocked.
