ATTN: SIDIOUS-MUN
Dec. 6th, 2004 02:58 amYou have annoyed several of the Endless.
This was a bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad plan.
Expect to be played with shortly.
Thank you, that is all.

Dec. 6th, 2004 04:54 amAlright, who named one of the wait-rats Kiki-Lyn?
Lindra? Lindra? Bueller?
Lindra? Lindra? Bueller?
The Healer was out due to the fact that the mun hadn't gotten more than five hours sleep in forty-eight, and had to sleep or collapse.
Could someone please tell me:
1. What injuries do the twins still have, after having been given emergency care by Tom and Tonks (bless them both)? I don't want to have Peter healing things that Tom and Tonks already took care of.
2. Is Ron still at Milliways, and is his arm being tended to?
3. What condition is Bernard in?
4. Is anyone else hurt, injured, maimed or ill? If so, could you please describe the symptoms and tell me where your character is?

St. Nick's Day
Dec. 6th, 2004 08:41 amToday, if anyone cares, is St. Nicolas' Day, and Nick, despite his trying times, finds this something of a special day. He's not Santa, and he's not a saint, but today, he's not angsting so expect a happy smile and a light heart from everyone's favorite nutball vampire.
In fact, he's cooking up a happy little surprise.
He'll be in the bar early today, as soon as his mun gets out of class (approx 4:00 EST). He'll also be on all damn night cause this is a Big thing and his mun has finished work and can actually do that.

So! Due to a cracktastic thread that I can't find right now, woe, Valentine and Azraphael have come up with an idea. There should be a library at Milliways. In said library would be books. All kinds of books, fiction, non-fiction, picture books, text books.... And all would be free for the lending. Sure, they're working out details, (Fines, magical binding and waterproofing spells, that kind of thing) but, my question is, what does everyone think? Would your character like to see something like this? One person I brought it up to mentioned that canon of Milli-characters should be removed. Opinions on that? My idea was that either the characters just overlooked their canon unless they -want- to see it, or that they're just -gone-. Other ideas bantered around IC were having Door Open a portal to either Azraphael's bookstore or some library somewhere. Val's pondered opening her room to people borrowing books, and from what I know, the Bar gave out books every so often.
Anyway, pardon my long, rambling post. Interact with this, please! Logistical ideas? Is it a good idea, bad idea, have I been on the Crack for way too long?
Note: I am on my way to work right now, so if you ask questions, they won't be answered till 8:30 Eastern. Sorry. :(

Dec. 6th, 2004 02:31 pmI've just been pondering, and I have to say that I reckon there are some excellent characters that it's a shame we don't have yet. Specifically I'm thinking
-The Dice Man
-Dr Iannis (sp?)- Captain Corelli's Mandolin
-Ignatious J. Reilly- Confederacy of Dunces.
Anyone else got any characters they'd like to see?
(This post gets put up periodically. I'm nothing if not repetetive. *g*)

Talking to Anakin!mun...
Dec. 6th, 2004 05:07 pmThis is not a hint. Except if it is. Because. Mmm. Pretty British males in leather...
Ladyluthe1: There [Remus and Peter's] love is so British and repressed!
chaos pockets: I really, really, really want to see Giles added to the mix. So much tea.
Ladyluthe1: Remus + Giles + Peter W. + Aziraphael = Teasplotion!
chaos pockets: They're like a gang gone wrong. They can angst and drink tea and be repressed and slashy together.
Ladyluthe1: I think that is the first and last time those four will *ever* be described as a gang.
chaos pockets: Can't you just picture them in white undershirts and tight tight jeans?
chaos pockets: :D
chaos pockets: And leather jackets. Of course.
Ladyluthe1: Shit. You just broken my Guh-meter.
chaos pockets: *giggles* *is proud* They could be the Tea Leaf Gang. Except now I'm picturing them a la Munchkin land and the lollipop guild, and that's just wrong. SO maybe not the Tea Leaf Gang.
Ladyluthe1: The Book Club. With all possible connations.
chaos pockets: *cackles* Yes.
Ladyluthe1: We so need to put this idea into Sophie's head, so the next time Crowley is on speaking terms with Aziraphael, we can be treated to just such a thing.
chaos pockets: Mmm, pretty British men-angel creatures in leather. Yes. We do need to get this idea in Sophie's head.
Ladyluthe1: Paul Bettany as a British man-angel creature in leather.
chaos pockets: Guh. Mmm. Yeah. Guh
Ladyluthe1: And the pretty British werewolf in leather, and the British watcher in leather, and the British ameteur detective in leather...
chaos pockets: *wibbles*
Ladyluthe1: Was that a good wibble
?
chaos pockets: That was the best sort of wibble.
Not that this was a hint. At. All.

Bartending
Dec. 6th, 2004 10:36 pmBartleby. The bar. You do the maths.
In case anyone wonders why I keep making these asinine and increasingly boring posts: it's so that people are aware that there's a bartender on duty and do not therefore order directly from the bar without noticing the bartender. Which is not hugely believable.
ETA: Of course, the ordering-directly-from-the-bar doesn't apply at the moment, as Charlie-mun reminded me. But one day it will. And I'll still be making these posts when that day comes. So there.
