Before I actually go to bed...

Question: How does your character come and go? Special door, Apparition, strange wacky magical artifact? For those using Apparition, how does the coordinates thing work?

As I'm going to bed now, replies to this will only come tomorrow :D

Thank you guys for letting Nick have a little fun. I have no idea why the vampire decided to be obsessed with cookies, but such is life at Milliways. If you know Nick and did not get cookies, I apologize. I tried to get everyone but no sleep = not the most observant.

Apology

Everyone I was talking to last night? My six-year-old laptop decided that enough was enough and went to bed for the night. I hatesss it, yess. In future, if you're talking to Bartleby and he doesn't reply for half an hour without giving you a reason, feel free to god him out if you want.

I'm on for a little while now, but basically what I'm going to do is pretend that yesterday's entry is actually posted tonight, therefore cunningly avoiding slowtiming all those conversations.

And I know that makes very little sense. Trust me, it's a plan.

Actually, a plan that I don't think will work. Aaaaarrrggghhh, the slowtiming of d00m approaches.

Some of you remember this thinger? The idea about maybe adding something more for Bound patrons to get money? I've tossed the idea around, but never really gotten much of a response from people, so I ask you guys. How would you feel a bit of a day spa and/or boutique of some such idea added into our little universe? We've had so many additions lately, I thought maybe the idea could be thrown out for discussion even if it isn't implemented.

Also. [livejournal.com profile] heysugah aka Rogue is now up for grabs. I've only played her a handful of times, and she had no plot attached to her, so easy for another person to pick up. Just drop me a line here or ping me if you want her. It's christmas! Time to give other muns a chance to have that character that was just taken.

Thank you!

*So I've been telling one of my friends about the madness that is the crackbar. And for all she says this is mainly a joke and she'd prolly be bad about remembering to come in, I don't think she'll stop asking until I get her an answer, so:
Has Princess Leia been in the bar yet, and if not, could my friend possibly adopt?
(And otherwise, what else is available as far as Star Wars goes? I might be able to entice her with something else in that fandom, and I'd say she'd be most comfortable starting there...)

*Also, for my own plotty goodness wot started last night: I need someone (anyone!) to bring in another Daria character. Would prefer Quinn, but it doesn't particularly matter which, as long as I know who before they make their entrance. (ETA: Oh yeah, and I should prolly know what point of the series you're bringing whoever in from.) Ping (YM or AIM, minkhollow42) or email ('tis in my profile) if you're curious.

I...

My head? SO MUCH CRACK.

See, I was thinking, Aziraphael would probably put leather patches on the elbows of his tweed jackets. I mean, it's just good sense, really. They might be long lasting and hardwearing, but not quite enough to keep up with him. That's life when you're an angel, I'm afraid.

The same goes for Crowley- even leather, though it might last for years, is no match for the aeons of existence that Crowley has lived through.

I imagine Aziraphael tut-tutting at the state of the elbows on Crowley's favourite leather jacket. I imagine him picking up his pinking shears and casting around vaguely for something from which to create patches. I imagine his eyes lighting upon an old tweed jacket...

*giggles*

This is what discussions of British men in leather does to me, I'm afraid. *g*

Bartleby-mun's computer has gone kaput for the night and she begs the forgiveness of all. Slowtime requested. Hopefully we'll see Bart tomorrow.

Posted in this account, as for some reason I've neglected to get Alex ways_back_room access:

Just so the security folks know, Alex's cell now contains one Knight of Tirragen and one very magical red rose.

See here for details.

So did anything happen with the milliways adoption agency idea? I thought it was a good one, and wouldn't be averse to running it, I suppose. It might be a little sporadic because my access to gmail is limited, but I can get hold of the email addresses of abandoned characters enquired about.

I would suggest that anyone putting characters up for adoption cross-post to the back room, but I can keep a master list of who's up for grabs.

Yay or nay?

I know y'all know what's up with Bernard, but how many of you know how it happened? Eh? Eh? I am prepared to say 'eh' until I pass through annoyance and out the other side.

For a complete and up to date summary of the villainous side of the plot, read on!

Who remembers . . . the summario? C'mon, guys, we used to do this all the time. With or without sheep. )

Angel behind bars.

Also: if I can keep my eyes open for long enough (and deepest apologies, Caleb, if I can't) there is an incipient possibility of a Bartleby/Loki punch-up. I personally have no problem if anyone intervenes, cause if you think it's IC for your character to do so then it'd be stupid to stop you from doing it, but if you do, your character will may get hurt.

And a note that may be useful at this point: only some HP characters have ever attempted to use magic on Bartleby, but when they've tried, he's been oblivious to it, which by extension probably means that Loki is as well. Divine angelicness and all that. And the fact that when it was first tried I was having far too much fun being a cow, and Sirius was trying to chuck me out of the bar magically, but we'll gloss over that.
