One of those "Summary" type things

Eh, I figured it might be nice to start summaries again. *sheepish*

So, last night sometime in the past recent millitime-

Svava's practicing her reading. (And its actually a plot-clue that she's wearing the 21st century outfit Lecter got for her.) Hannibal approaches, and they talk. Another portal rune spell test is brought up, with the idea of safely sending Svava to Florence. Its a nice control variable, since she's been there a couple times already, right? Not quite.

Svava's seen collapsing to the floor just as the portal closes. Hannibal calmly hurries to the door, but this all caught the attention of Tim, Meg, and Yrael. Tim and Meg aren't taking it as calmly. Lecter goes out the door, followed by Tim, and cat-Yrael. Meg misses the exit, unfortunately.

They find Svava passed out on the dining room floor. Dr Lecter in the Dining room, with the knife... Hannibal checks to see that she's ok, and moves her to the table, waking her up. Svava's vague about what happened, other than she's not feeling fine, and needs to get back to Milliways asap. The three gentle-beings are nicely reassuring, and Tim helps her back to the door Lecter uses to go to and from Milliways. Tim sort of disappears as they're crossing through, and Hannibal doesn't make it either. Svava's looking better, though, and a now human(ish) Yrael escorts her to her room, where Svava passes out.

Tim has left the bar. Not entirely of his free will. He's going to be gone until at least monday. I myself will be unavailable friday and staurday night, due to first a birthday party that i know nothing about ;) and then larp. Tommorrow at some point, Baby is going to deliver messages to security and Bernard that Tim has been gone awhile and has not come back. Feel free to chat me up if anyone wants to try and find him or whatnot.

Sorry for my abrupt disappearance last night.

Someone (by which I mean my father) switched of the modem before going to bed, without noticing I was still up. As it takes a few minutes to warm up again and I was powering down anyway, I didn't come back on to say good night.

I think all threads had wound down anyway, though, so it was just me leaving the chat.

So, what's up with the sudden surge of people posting into the bar saying, basically, "I'm not actually here, but there's my character! Look! A character with whom you cannot interact!"

This is a role playing game. That means you're supposed to play. Posting without being able to play just overloads the bar, and it's kinda annoying.

I know it's sometimes for plot, and hey, far be it from me to stand in the way of plot, but why else would you want to do it? Any explanations would be welcome, for I totally do not understand.

New permanent summariser needed for Saturday night (i.e. you'll be doing the work on Sunday), with thanks to anthy_rosebride-mun for all her hard work. As it's a biiig night, if two people volunteer and want to sort out between themselves some sort of jobshare, that'd be great.

Again, dire warnings about everything crashing to halt if (a) summariser(s) don't emerge. *guilts*

Now that the Kid has gotten his preliminary drama out of the way and can try to relax for a while, I've been kicking around the idea of writing up a List of Canonical Sources to be a companion to the Cast List, as I've got plenty of time for such things. Opinions? Is there someone else working on this kind of thing? I'd hate to expend that much energy needlessly. Thanks.

Danii the mun (Nick Knight, Darien Fawkes, Ezekiel Stone, Benton Fraser, Natalie Lambert, Shaun of the Dead, Mozenrath, Sir Apropos of Nothing, the Minstrels, Norse!Loki, and Yamino Ryusuke) *breaths* will not be available for evening play. I'll probably be in during the mornings and afternoons, but I will be babysitting my chorale professor's kids from this Saturday til next Sunday while he's at a conference, which includes sleeping there...and there has no internet access. I'm going to spend the time getting schoolwork done, rereading/watching my canons, trying to read other's canons, etc. etc. et-bloody-cetera. If you need any of the listed characters for a plot or specific reason, I can see about working around that (because I might be able to slip out and head back to school after they go to bed at the grand old time of 9:30)...but I'm not going to do it regularly becuase another part of the job is being up at 5:30am...and not from the back end either.

If you are romantically involved with my character (RayK-mun(snicker), Kestrel-mun, Bren/Alex-mun, Chiana-mun, Echo-mun, etc.) feel free to god them within reason while I'm not there. Otherwise, they are just being antisocial little jerks...which is in character for at least a few of them.

If anyone cares...sorry, folks. I need the cash. Feel free to ring me on my cellphone, though.
