To whom it may concern, mainly everyone one of my characters has plot with:

My desktop computer is slowly dying a rather painful death, and my laptop hasn't shown itself. I don't know how I rigged it to get on and post this. AIM works just about all the time. It's the browser that's being horrid. And the fact it's now stuck on 16 colour. So, I apologise to everyone I dropped off with last night, which I think was only one person. So, if I'm spotty for the next couple days, or keep falling off, I apologise. I really don't mean it. *cries* My laptop should be back soon.

Oh, and another note, there is a post forthcoming about setting a date for the wedding. Really!

Dirty stuff in the bar

During his most recent misadventure in New Loompaland, Indiana Jones unknowingly caused the recycling plant to shut down on Monday evening. The waste management facility in question produces all the critical cleaning products that the Loompas use to carry out their housekeeping and bar cleaning duties. 24-7 production is needed to keep these supplies in line with the high demand caused by the ever multiplying number of residents and customers in the bar above. Resetting the machines takes many man Loompa hours of work, thus an instantaneous shortage of cleaning products occurred. The upshot is that there may be a lot of poorly cleaned things in the bar for the next week until the shipment of imported brand name products arrives and allows production to catch up again.

Feel free to have extra dust and stains observed.

Plot Plot Plot

As some of you may know, there's some serious 24 plottage going down on Sunday. The short story: Tony will be leaving his friends letters and will be leaving the bar itself on Friday. On Sunday, he is going to attempt suicide, but Jack will stop him before he dies (or finds Tony in his apartment doing nothing but being angsty). Either way, we need a healer. The plot will be starting at 8. Anyone available?

Clearly I have to get this stuff off my mind before I can work.

Just a few musings on the Rent front, really:
1) This is, apparently, the sort of thing I do when I'm trying to stay up all night. Summarised all the Rent-specific stuff through Saturday. Due to the staying-up-all-night thing, it's not necessarily coherent, but there it is.
2) Now that spring break's not getting in my way, this sort of thing (the drag in general, not the weekend-long wardrobe crisis) is going to happen a bit more often. Feel free to have your characters react as they will - within reason, of course. I won't stand for anything mean-spirited. Otherwise, though, bring it on. XD
3) Lisechen? I think Angel needs to meet talk to Death, one of these days. But I seem to keep missing you in the crackchat, so I'm just bringing it up here. Let me know when's good for you.

Kitchen Recruitment Drive

Time was - ooh months ago - we had a recruitment drive for the kitchen.

Then Gil advertised and interviewed for the posts of 3 sous-chefs [so that there's always someone on duty] 3 washer-uppers and general kitchen hands [ditto] and a pastry cook.

He appointed Utena as sous-chef leaving 2 posts vacant, Loki as pastry-cook and Penny, 'Po and Baldrick as washer-uppers etc.

Any how, here's what's on offer:

Baldrick has been made up to sous-chef and another sous-chef post will be offered to Yamino but Gil's going to take on an extra sous-chef to 'help' Utena.

Since Baldrick's promotion and 'Po's sudden departure there are 2 washer-up posts available.

So - one [or 2 if Yamino doesn't want it] sous-chefs plus 2 washer-uppers are required.

So far Dr Lecter and Boromir have applied. Anyone else who wants to be considered please register interest either by commenting here or pinging essayel on AIM or YM.

ETA Hermione and Virginia and Windows 95 have all applied as well.

I'll do my best to accommodate everyone who needs a post - especially Bound persons of limited means.

OK, some of you may have noticed an influx of characters from a certain Pterry book... *shifty*. This was supposed to be random crack, but then THE PLOT ET MY BRAIN!!!111!oneoneone!

This plot will change with development, because it's operatic and full of dramatic irony, for which I need to know what's said so I can ensure it becomes ironic. So if characters talk about possibilities or open spaces for misunderstandings, and if its plausible, I'd like that to actually happen.

Here are Walter's memories, to which I wish to add all threads that discuss the OG incident (from either canon); that include or discuss Christine!!!!!, Walter, Salzella or The Ghost; or that contain or refer to this plot.

The Corinthian has been gathering stuff that could be taken as the things to build an Endless Gallery.

At the very least the players of Death, Dream, Delirium, and Destruction have not been contacted regarding this.

Perhaps there is some plot that would not directly affect the Endless involved, in which case this notice is non-applicable.

However, if these items are intended to build an Endless Gallery the four of us would like to state that it will not work. The Galleries are ways for the Endless to speak with each other. The Corinthian is not Endless.

Due to the following chain of events, Nita has gotten a hold of the Mother’s memento. There will be a subconscious link formed between Nita and Asmodean since the Memento holds a piece of Asmodean’s soul.

In short, Nita’s maternal sense gets screwed with. Nita gets an ancient angsty bard living in the back of her mind, and Asmodean gets a teenage girl living in his.

OK, so, in crackchat we were talking about faxing cakes to people. Like you do.

Then, idea!

What if Milliways got a magic food fax installed in the kitchen? For instant room service? You could fax your order to the kitchens, and with the expanded kitchen staff (and all the kitchen rats) they could fax it right up to your room!

Only a suggestion, up to Gil-mun and the mods of course. Just thought I'd share!
