Argh. This is an apology for everyone I've been threading with for the past couple days. My computer is not working properly at all, and AIM every so often decides to not send me messages properly. So, if I seem to perhaps be ignoring you, I'm not. It's the blasted computer. At the best, my laptop will be back tomorrow. At the worst, Friday. At least that's what I'm telling myself. Anyway, Apologies, and things will be better soon. I hope.

Only two threads which ate my brain.

Thread one:
Hawkins briefly attempts to out-silent Astarael. Gives up. Attempts to figure out if she's okay. Is more-or-less told she's fine. The font tags nibble at my toes. He wanders off.

Thread two:
Vachon also comes over to see if she's okay. Astarael very eloquently says not a damn thing for a long, long time. The font tags eat my brain. Its pretty. He's nice. Many colors. Up to ten font tags in a SINGLE WORD.

Hi!

As you may know from my userinfo, Peach is something of an oracle. I'd love to have her out offering prophecies and getting involved in plots, so if you think a prophecy would be fun or useful for one of your characters, please feel free to either reply here or drop me an IM sometime with the relevant info, and I'll be glad to have Peach start prophecizing at your character sometime. Thanks!

Er. Helluva lot of whitetext in tonight's Roland-Death thread. And it is good to give credit where it's due, so. Sources:

Mojo Pin
So Real
Hallelujah
Lover, You Should've Come Over

All by the late, great, and heartbreakingly talented Jeff Buckley. Incidentally, Jeff is also source for young!Roland icons. < / trivia > *uses young!Roland icon on principle, la!*

Starting now and going indefinitely, I am on a Milliways hiatus. My love for the crack has put me behind with my school work so severely that this is the only way I can see me catching up. So this is how it goes:

Lorelai cannot enter the bar. I originally told a few people she'd be sneaking in but I've changed my mind. I have something in store for her and her extended absence from the bar is necessary. Also, she is the most tempting for me to play, so if I just cut her on out, then I should be able to just say no to the crack, right?

Claire is around of course. She has a job and a few OOM things she's promised (her "date" with Charlie and the family dinner, primarily). So you'll see her on Wednesday afternoons and she'll pop up every now and then for a short thread somewhere. You can say you've seen her, or talked to her, just link me if if anything of importance is brought up. I probably won't be paying much attention to the bar, so I may not catch any of that myself. Also, Seth is still to be in her eyesight at all time, unless he's with Charlie. I doubt she's ready just yet to let just anybody have him. And I'll be more than happy to finish any party-threads with her that are slow-timing.

My third and fourth characters are, er, around and not around. To put it rather vaguely.

Also, I'm probably going to be avoiding AIM/Y! so if you need me for anything feel free to email me at ktblle(@)gmail.com

Sorry, Viv, and anyone else I was talking with or intending to RP with last night. My internet randomly went poof, and only deigned to reappear this morning. :O

I know it's only 150 posts or so, but I'm summerize the Delia!zilla hopefully tonight, don't have the time at the moment.

So, 2,000+ comments later, the main cocktail party has wound down. However, please feel free to finish slow times or work your place-holder threads, or even post a new character in and tag some characters retrospectively? My inbox is fine with this... and it gives me something to read during the work day. Thanks to everyone who made this the fantastic event that it turned out to be!

A summary will be posted much sooner than early estimations predicted due to the stalwart work of one goddess Debi. OMG! Completely unexpected and voluntary on her part. There it was waiting in my inbox this morning... a very thorough partial summary... and I was gob-smacked. Karen and I are both in your debt... possibly forever. There's still some stuff left to read over but I can't see why it won't be up by tonight.

My head is only mildly fuzzy after the fifteen hour marathon. So that's nice as well.

Question.

This is my first summary, so do let me know about anything I've messed up.

New chat, because the old one went kapoof again. We have begun to recycle chat names, though, which is good for my memory, at least -- "Crack Chat Whichever," for those of you who know how to self-invite.

If you'd like an invite, drop a comment with your sn and I'll oblige. =)

So Tom, being the arrogant, former Dark wizard he is, thought the evil puppets were nothing to be concerned about. Hee hee hee...

Part the first: In which Tom encounters Marjory

Part the second: In which Tom brings Marjory back to the House of Arch *facepalm*

I have nothing amusing to say about this summary. It speaks for itself. Thanks to Debi (Mel- and Esk-mun) for her amazing voluntary contributions to this behemoth. Nearly everything before Snow and Bigby's entry is Debi's fine work *clings* That's about it really... thanks again to everyone who made the party what it was!

Every thread of the party... in glorious technicolor summary )

Ace gave Helen this awesome idea of starting a "Singles Club" or something like it for people who want to meet other singles. She suggested I consort with Claire in doing this. I welcome other help too! Claire-mun? Anyone else wanna join/help?

Indy's gone! The Loompas took him!

I am not sure if this demonstrates Marx's critique of lassez-faire weakly-centralised capitalist economics, or the classical free-market thesis on why unionised workforces respond too slowly to rapid changes in economic structure.

Either way, there's some interesting social science in there somewhere.
