Indiana Jones in New Loompaland (summary)

Here be the abridged version of a week of absolute insanity and cracky creativity.

But first, a little background. This plot was not planned at all. It just came in a flash while I was at work and brain dead on Monday morning after the cocktail party insanity of the night before. I asked Karen if the Loompas were coming to clean the suite and then realized Indy was passed out on the floor. Karen happily obliged and the rest, as they say, is history.

Massive co-authoring thanks to Karen (ms_ntropy) who played the Loompas and Mike, and was the wacky brain behind much of this insanity. The dry narrative was a team effort for the most part, but my inspiration always came from her vision. Massive thanks also to Heather (lunamystic) who played Dr Evil and Turtle Wexler so brilliantly under some huge time constraints and pressure. And thanks to Josie (muffinbutt) for her modly approvals and Bernard-ly stares.

Thanks also to all the readers who have been egging us on and providing cracky icons. A few people have requested this in a single fic format, so I'm going to try and make that happen over the weekend. Weeeee!

Some Do's And Don'ts Of Spring Cleaning:

DO: Accept responsibility for any characters, EVER, that you put up for adoption but were not taken. Delete them now, or wait until Phase Two, and retire them.


DON'T: Assume this post doesn't apply to you. It does.

DON'T: Say 'eh, I'll do it later'. Do it NOW. It takes, like, all of two minutes.

DON'T: Put characters up for adoption instead of deleting them. No more millidoptions, PERIOD, until the word is given.

And Mel is outta there.

I'm moving into my new flat for real this weekend, as my laptop is now fixed. This means that until we have cable installed I will only have internet druing the day (GMT days).

So: Mel is unBound and not coming in at all. Miss Susan and Christine!!!!! likewise.

Walter is still in the bar cleaning and washing up and generally making himself useful. He's an unobtrusive kind of character, so there's no reason he should be having any threads anyway. However, characters may see him around, if they want, or not. However, when I pick him up again, it's not very likely that anyone should be surprised to see him, is all.

Eska will be played during the day, but with the usual work related slow time that the people I usually play with in these hours should be used to by now.

I promise to post pics of the gorgeous flat as soon as I've unpacked!
